The powder coating training is fantastic and worth every penny. Whether you have zero experience or have been powder coating for some time and just need help with certain issues, Richard is incredibly knowledgeable and a great teacher. The basics like gun settings, gun maintenance, and proper technique are (politely) drilled into your head. You also get plenty of booth time shooting all the main types of powders using multiple techniques. If you want to get started in powder or are having problems, just go to take the class. It's worth it.

I highly recommend taking the powdercoating class that rich teaches if you are looking to get into powdercoating or better your skills. He's a great instructor and will teach you the right and wrong way to do things by letting you spray parts on your own so that you make mistakes and learn from them. I posted a few photos before and after of some parts that I brought with me. I also attached a cup that we had a chance to do with some vinyl remove.

So I have to start out saying I highly recommend this class they teach you what you need to know what you need to do they let you make mistakes along the way so he can show you a better way or the way it’s supposed to be. I highly recommend Richard as the teacher of this class. Great personality pays Attention to detail takes the time to get to know where you want to go and points you in the right direction and that’s all you can ask for. I highly recommend taking this class if you haven’t done anything in powder coating, even if you have. You are never too old to stop learning. They give you the opportunity to Powdercoat multiple items in order to make the mistakes to learn the correct way to do it and Richard is a class act. They also teach you the basics to learning the proper procedures that it takes to powder coat from step one to step 10.

I recently attended the 4 day training. Rich provided valuable information on all aspects of powder coating. I’m in the process of starting a powder coating business and had many questions. I left the class feeling confident and feeling like the class was worth the time and money I invested. This is saying a lot as I flew out from Bend Oregon. The class size was only 4 people, allowing for plenty of one on one instruction!

I recently attended the 4 day class, not knowing what to expect. Was I surprised! Usually, I get some boring instructor, but not Rich. This guy is COOL and a wealth of knowledge. Absolutely enjoyed the class and instruction. The majority of the class is hands-on. Loved the way I was allowed to make mistakes, learn what I did wrong, and how to correct. Haven't done a lot of powdercoating. However, came out of this class feeling confident and like a seasoned professional. WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY SPENT! (Even though I didn't get to go in the back) LOL. Also... Small class size is a plus, allowing for exceptional one on one instruction. Would highly recommend this course to all interested!
