Pros: Both drivers (delivery and pick up) were very professional and friendly. They took the time to examine the area for placement, asked us questions about sprinklers, access needed. Post hurricane devastation was everywhere. They were kind and considerate. The delivery guy( forgot his name 7 months ago) had to drop off in slippery, tight area and for pick up Alonzo had to carefully and skillfully maneuver the POD to remove it. They both tried diligently to place and remove with no additional damage to yard.
Communication from POD and the drivers was exceptional. Emails and phone calls. 3 Hour window and then a call when on the way with estimated time. And we were not required to be there. Very easy to deal with. Would definitely use again.
Cons: 1-You cannot call the “local location” and talk to anyone … all online or national toll free. It worked fine… just not a preference for many of us older people.
2- The POD leaked when it rained… back left corner. Luckily we found it before damage was done to a household of furniture old and new. We adjusted , rearranged and kept towels down and changed them out quickly after a rain. I am sure if we had reported it to PODS they would have brought a replacement( if one was available) but we could not imagine unloading and reloading a 16’ or whatever size full of tile and furniture. Alonzo mentioned he was taking it to someone in the neighborhood and I quickly told him about the leak we were going to report and he took it back for maintenance.
Con: could be my error, but I did not choose to have the unit insured but months into the rental looked at the bill( no paper, only digital) and saw $10 each month. Again, I could have tried calling and tried to adjust— but we were dealing with other priorities of rebuilding.

This google review is only for the driver and the delivery of my POD. Alonzo was kind, courteous and placed my pod where I wanted it even though I was concerned of the location. He did it IN the rain, after my order was an issue - and placed it on my driveway without damaging my grass or mailbox. He was a professional and I’m grateful he took pride in his service. Great job Alonzo!

The POD however wasn’t as advertised and there were some issues. But no matter. See photos - wasn’t expecting a wood lined setup with nails sticking out. I was looking for the metal one. The 4x4 posts do aid in securing the load - but damn - it jacked up my Tetris game!!!!

I had a fantastic experience with PODS Moving & Storage in Augusta! Their driver, Mike S, was outstanding. He arrived promptly within the scheduled window and placed the pod exactly as requested. Mike took extra care to ensure the door wasn’t jammed, making the unloading process much easier. He was also extremely courteous and professional throughout the entire process. I highly recommend PODS Augusta and especially appreciate the excellent service from Mike S!

Today two of our Pods were picked out
one by Ivan and the second by Colton, also, we received two of the Pods scheduled for our move, Ivan, Alonso and Colton were very professional, calling on his way to the house and upon his arrival. Always very courteous and respectful. Placed the Pods side by side in our driveway in no time, gave me some tips on how to accommodate and secure the load.
My kudos to Ivan, Alonso and Colton for a well job done. Thanks for a good experience. All these happened after a bad coordination from the dispatcher who scheduled the delivery before the pickup. Thanks for the drivers who went the extra mile to make this situation a good one.

Pods are awesome hard 45 degree driveway and he placed it BETTER than I could have hoped and even asked for! Sweet kind southern gentleman knowing it would be hard to move as it is!!

My recovery driver, Alonzo Coleman, was fantastic at retrieving the container from my property. His courtesy, skill, and professionalism speaks volumes for him. My issue with PODS stems solely from the damage caused to my driveway from the first driver: he clearly caused the damage and despite the pictures I submitted, PODS denied the claim within the hour after I submitted it. Based upon that experience, it’s doubtful that I’d use or recommend PODS.

I came at this location at 10:50 and got out at 11:00. Forklift driver named Bobby Sayman does a very clean work and heals you out even if it’s past closing time. Very quick and polite all the time.
Could say it’s the best I’ve ever seen.
This is one of the best pods locations I’ve ever been attended.

I want to express my sincere appreciation for Bobby Sayman, the forklift drivers who went above and beyond his responsibilities. Despite is being past his scheduled work time, he patiently waited for me, and helped unload everything quickly and professionally. He was not only efficient and skilled at his job, but also kind, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. His positive attitude and dedication really stood out.
