We need a new power company this place sucks! Never answer phones, poor customer service, in a disaster look on side of roads taking breaks are their go to

So we paid $400 in deposit money 5 years ago to get electricity turned on. PEC had separate meter put in our garage. Today we finally got the house deposit back this month. I was told I'd get both deposits back. Apparently they've changed that policy. If you don't get the money back then it's a fee, not a deposit. So it's a $200 fee to have the privilege of paying them money every month. The second meter is quite the money maker for them. Barely use the lights in garage. So almost $30 a month. $360 a year for them, basically pure profit, every single year plus what we pay on house meter. Their rates aren't cheap either. We had to replace a entire hvac system just to make the bill affordable for us. Our electricity stays on better than average than locally (Deer Lodge struggles daily to keep electricity on), but we've also upgraded our entire electric box and breakers. The online website makes paying easy. Most employees are friendly and professional. Would like to see more resources for people who are oxygen/CPAP dependent.

This company's rates are INSANE. A "low" bill from them is around $250-$300 monthly. It's just nuts. I have never come across another power company with rates like theirs. I guess they feel they can get away with it since we don't have any other options out
here. Shameful. OH and they don't provide a disconnect notice, they just send someone to shut it off unannounced.

The electric goes out if someone farts. Seriously, can be a bright sunny day and the electric will go out randomly for no reason. I’ve been alive for 35 years and I’ve had the electric go out more in two years living in SunBright then I have my entire life on this earth combined.

Once again, power is out. And guess what....they leave u hanging. It would take 1 minute to post on line on FB an estimated time of outage once you discover the problem. So tired of the number of outages and the lack of communication to its customers.

Easy setup when I first moved. Glad they started the app pay cause driving to drop off my check to avoid fees was getting annoying. I have lived in 11 different areas over the past 8 years for work and they are pretty expensive. I don’t even use that much electricity. Very friendly staff who has always been kind and cohetes when I call. and it’s the only option for power.

PEC has always provided outstanding service to the community. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. This facility is very clean and well taken care of. The same can be said for the equipment and vehicles. No one gets excited about paying the electric bill, but they make it as painless as possible.
