I highly recommend Zak and Phoenix Valley Solar. Zak was the 4th sales contact I made when shopping for a solar installation. He was by far the most knowledgeable and the most detailed, and he paired me with Solar Topps for the installation which was also a very good experience. Zak stayed involved throughout the planning, permitting, installation, and inspection. He was completely invested in my experience as a customer through every step of the process.

I cannot tell you how much red tape gets in the way of getting solar installed on a house. Me and my cousin were total newbies, and I didn’t realize there were big government regulations, HOA nuances (or should I say, nuisances), considerations for where the panels should go, etc.

Zak was not just a doer with my family member’s installation. He was a partner. He helped me and my cousin (god bless him, kinda dumb) through every step of the process. He read right through the red tape expertly.

If you want both solar and high quality service, Zak is your man.

I leased my system from Valley Wide Electric/NRG solar back in 2012. Now my inverter is going bad and shutting down when the temp hits 85 degrees. Spruce Power bought my lease contract and they refuse to send a tech out to check the system and fix it. Being deperate I called Zak at Phx Valley Solar and even though I'm not a customer, he spent the time on the phone with me discussing my issue, the symptoms and my options. Zak didn't try and sell me anything as cost for his help and time. He did refer me to a local solar tech if I wanted to get the inverter checked out so I could have a tech report to try and force Spruce Power (don't use them) to fix THEIR equipment as the lease requires.
ZAK is the best and I can't thank him enough for being willing to listen to me and to help me. If I ever need to replace my system I will most definately call Zak!

Met with Zak to discuss solar options and was incredibly impressed. He was thorough and went into detail where I needed it. As a salesman who doesn't believe in pressuring my customers, I truly appreciate Zak's non-pressure approach. He laid out the benefits, costs, and pros/cons of multiple solar/payment scenarios.
