They overcharge and have a monopoly. You can't go any where else and the screw you on the price. And when you call they'll tell you it's your fault

Zero stars. Worst experience with a utility company I could ever imagine. Nightmare from day one. They insisted on a $600 deposit for my account when I only had a $5 bill. THEN, I was told to set up autopay to have the $600 waived, by two different people from customer service. Well guess what happened? Autopay never happened, the deposit never disappeared. I am working during the day/week my bill is due, I won't get any time off to handle it during PG&E's business hours, I am sure they'll charge me a nice late fee! I can't even login to access my account and pay manually, it's "temporarily unavailable". PLUS...they ran my credit, a hard inquiry. Just to have electricity? Companies like this making it impossible for people to have their basic needs met. I can't wait to move out of my current rental so that the utilities can be provided by ANYONE other than PG&E. Get this- which is just too funny- when I asked about solar programs and time of day usage plans they hung up on me. "Sure, I'll transfer you", *CLICK*. Thanks a billion, PG&E. Rooting to see this company sued and out of business.

Pge is a joke in general but this was a cluster of no other. If you want a company that murdered people (yeah Google cancer + pge) to treat you like human garbage go here. Got to love geographic Monopolies? I sure don't.
