Let’s open up a class action lawsuit against them! Literally same thing! Forceful pushy sales men getting us to sign up, after that you get charged and always pay more than your normal bills so you’re paying two bills!

After closing it you literally still get charged and I told them stop charging me and they don’t listen and keep doing so, even gave them the case number back they gave me asking why isn’t the case closed and don’t see the “credits” anywhere on my bill

This company needs to be sued to oblivion and they’re gonna keep doing this until they are shut down

Very dishonest company! They subcontract local solar firms to go door to door saying how they can save you money. They say "hey it's free money, you wouldn't say no to free money!" Admittedly ,the guy selling me this SERVICE that costs you MONEY so your bill will go up (not saving you money like they will claim) was awesome. But ironically, they weren't a part of perch so I can't even give them credit for that but I digress. You're signing up for a subscription that could *potentially* save you money but it's more likely your bill will go up 10%-20%. Don't use these services!

I have used it till may after that i disconnected it and 1 and half month back have opted for it back with change address request as new by talking to customer service on phone and that got pending status and got confirmation from the saying i am good from my end only they have to active it and after doing several follow ups nothing happened so i have escalated and they raised a case and even that was closed without checking and when i called and mention that its more than 1 and half month and they activated with old address and not with the new one. Its a lot of follow-ups and even now it is still going on.

After the call just now few mins back, they could not change my address and which they have only activated it back and now cancelled it and asking me to start over again.

When i asked using perch energy how it is going to help with my existing account PSEG bill or in general to us they are saying i do not have access to check the info and i asked multiple times to understand it but still the same.

It just wasted 1 and half month time and finally cancelled by them itself now.

This past Saturday, only a day and a half ago, I was caught on a very vulnerable day. I have been in and out of the hospital for health related issues, balancing a full-time job and a child. I also lost the house and car keys for good, I was a mess. I was sick on the couch and a man in a electric company uniform rang the bell. I answered looking disheveled with unmatched pj's. I thought the man was connected to my current energy company because he knew all about my bill, and I'd received an announcement from my company that they needed to check meters the day before. I told him to go downstairs and check the meter, he said he did not need to do that today, but wanted me to save money on my bill. Feverishly, I signed his board and gave him my information. I know better!!! I am devastated that I did this. Later that day, I received an email from a company named Perch stating I just signed up with them and would be receiving a bill etc. This email came with a follow up text from the salesman stating that he was NOT part of my electric company. It was then whe. I realized what had been done.

I read the reviews and the Perch contract and was upset. This is the last thing that I need right now. The Perch agreement states that I can cancel up to three days before the start of the effective date of the agreement. I notified Perch via email along with all of thier paperwork they require to stop the transaction. I also mailed the paperwork to them. Additionally, I did not complete thier follow up contact information that they said is needed to confirm. I am hoping this is all I need to get out of this mess before it begins. I will be devastated and angry if I receive anything from them in terms of a bill etc. I will call the Perch customer service number today and ensure I am canceled. Pray that I don't need to take legal action. Ugh. I really did it now. 🙁

I will change my review if I get official information that I am canceled and I will wait 30 days to let you all know if I received a bill.

Got my first bill and it actually cost me more now with Perch energy. I was charged a subscription fee that I was not told about when I signed up. Not impressed at all!!! I was told I would save 10% or more each month guaranteed and yet this month it cost me an additional 93 cents.

It's great to save a little on my electric bills, which are high with my all electric home, but I don't have any way to understand why they take back 80% of the savings. It would seem to make more sense if they took back 20%. This appears to be a money-making operation for someone well beyond the cost expense of the solar farm operation.

I would give no stars, but that's not an option.

This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any company.
We were moved to Perch from a different solar provider and have dealt with issues consistently regarding billing(the newest issue is the portal and CST says I haven't paid, but the money was absolutely withdrawn from my account), being overcharged (btw you don't pay by usage, but rather subscription which for us was over double what it would have cost us with just our regular energy provider and no one can seem to tell you what you are actually paying for), horrible customer service (not one knows what they are doing and says the person before them was incorrect) and basically anything you can imagine (want to pay your bill online, maybe the portal will let you and then not send a confirmation), and let's not forget to unclick the "sign up for auto-pay" or don't save my billing information every month when you are paying 🙄 - I could literally right a business plan on how not to run a business based on my experience with them.

Oh and the best part is it takes MONTHS to actually be done with them after you've canceled.

This experience has literally made me a worse person. Save yourself a headache and find a different provider.

This company its a rip off! Cancelled my subscription and still being charged! Don’t fall for this. My electric bill doubled with them. And still had to pay a subscription fee.
Stay away from Perch Energy!
