Our family has been buying bikes from Pat and Tom at Walter’s on LBI for DECADES!! Pat and Tom are personable, and always go the extra mile even when it is high season! They take care of their customers and make recommendations based on what the customer needs. I bought one of the first Pedego Bikes, The Elements, and simply LOVE it! I zip around town and everyone stops me and asks about the bike, I highly recommend Walter’s Bikes because they stand behind their products, take care of their customers and have decades of experience in the industry!

Pat and Tom were so amazing when we walked in after months of research to look at the Pedego bikes. My husband was determined to walk out with his Trail Tracker, researching and knowing exactly what he wanted. He listened patiently to all their knowledge on this brand as they are so passionate about it and then tucked in a side room was his dream bike. The bike was exactly what he wanted, the size, the color and the model. Needless to say we left with it. As I stood waiting for his purchase Pat talked to me for some time about how these bikes changed their lives and deep down I wanted one too but was older now, out of shape and not ready for the commitment. Pat was so kind and truly an expert on these bicycles. She explained to me how I could ride a Boomerang, one that seemed to be made for me. She showed me a life changing article about a woman who lost over a hundred pounds riding a Pedego bike and I got more excited. Then I saw it, the most beautiful blue (Tiffany blue) bike exactly how I should have it. We got home and my husband immediately rode almost 20 miles on his bike making me want mine so bad. That same night we called Pat and Tom and that pretty blue bike was put on hold for me. Best purchases we have ever made. Our bike riding has not stopped, we have fallen in love with our Pedgo bikes and have felt like part of the LBI Pedego family. Pat and Tom made this so worth it. We highly recommend.

Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! Not intending to purchase an electric bike I was truly please after the shop owner explained the benefit of them especially for "senior citizens". My husband and I are thrilled with our purchases and would highly recommend everyone interested in a new bike to come try these great bikes out!

After deciding I would like to have an electric bike, I had looked at many online, but was was skeptical on making a purchase of such a high ticket item without seeing it and getting to test ride it. After a online search I found Pedego Electric Bikes Long Beach Island. Pat & Tom were knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to about the Pedego bikes. I never enjoyed riding a bike as much as I do now!

Pat and Tom basically held my hand which was GREATLY appreciated because this whole E-bike thing was a totally new and overwhelming thing for me. They answered all of our tedious questions and really helped me understand the mechanisms and how to use the bike safely. It's been a game changer for me since I have not been able to go on long bike rides since the beginning of a chronic lung issue about four years ago. We bought the bike on Saturday 3/19 and in the first week of riding I biked 10 plus miles TWICE!....I highly recommend them and the products they represent and sell.

Had a wonderful experience at this store for Pedego bike rental and extensive information on a potential purchase. I went with my boyfriend and a friend - it was my first time riding an electric bike and Pat and Tom were so helpful in explaining how to operate the bikes and the benefits of them. After our wonderful ride, we were instantly hooked, and Pat spent time getting us up to speed (pun intended) on the universe of Pedego bikes and the wide variety of options available to us. We left knowing we were well taken care of at this store and in good hands. We have the Pedego catalogue and even though we live in NY, if we decide to purchase a Pedego, we will definitely do so through this store. I would highly recommended for bike rentals, purchases, and repairs. They carry a wide assortment of both general and electric bicycles and accessories.

When my husband and I were looking for bikes we went into Tom and Pats store on Long Beach Island. My family had been shopping there for over fifty years! We were introduced to the Pedego brand by Tom and Pat and it was love at first sight! These are the most knowledgeable and helpful people when it comes to bikes! Great people fabulous experience and wonderful followup! We now have had our boomerang and Intercepter Pedego bikes for over a year. One of the best purchases we have ever made! If it weren’t for Pat and Tom we may have never had bought these great bikes! We ride them just about everyday!
