Let me start this review by saying, this is the company that taught me how to how to complete a credit card chargeback.
I dropped off my wife's pc on the 5th of march, There was no tech there, I tell them the problem with my computer. I got one update when he returned to work. I called again on 12th at 2pm, there was no tech there, but was told I'd get a call back. 24hours later, no returned call, I go to the shop, there was no tech there. I call no answer, (which is pretty common.) I call an hour later asking to pick up my computer l'm no longer interested in their services, this is how I get my computer.
Essentially I paid $75 (or so they thought.) to have them tell me what I told them upon drop off and then to receive my computer in worse shape than when I dropped it off. Their google reviews also show that this may very well be a new underhanded company using the name of an older established company.

NAAAHHH BRO, this is bad, please people rethink before going here lmaooo, brought in my pc 17th of Jan, because I was having display issues, I had messed with and tested everything except for the motherboard and CPU, every wire, display ports, does not give me my display still, so I came to them for a last resort, they were super nice at the start and what not and I explained over the phone and in person that I know for a fact it is something to do with the motherboard or CPU, and were understanding of that, told me it might be a little bit because they’ve been busy, understandable, I’m thinking a week or 2 before I hear anything at all, well week 3 came nothing, I called Monday morning, owner seems very nice on the phone just like I talked to her the first time about coming in, told me they just got to it and they were testing my gpus, I had 2 in the pc mind you, and I was a little confused cause there’s 2 in there because I was getting no display with any gpu’s, so I know it’s not them, but letting it go and just knowing they got to it made me feel better, well 2 more weeks go by, so I call again on Monday, once again very nice lady over the phone saying that they “just got done testing the gpu’s”😑 bro what, so I was a little irritated but was told that’s it was looking to be the motherboard, which I already knew, but I was told that I would get a call in a day or 2 for my pc, I was happy to hear that, so I waited, and Monday of next week came, so I called, got nothin, got a call back after a while same nice lady, asked her what was going on cause I was promised a call and it never came, she proceeded to laugh and apologize saying last week got outta hand but with really no explanation, (I work customer service, I know when someone’s trying to cover their ass) so i asked what was up with it then and she proceeded to tell me they think it’s my motherboard and because it’s a prebuilt (which yes, the motherboard is a prebuilt, but I have changed everything else about it besides the cpu) they told me they couldn’t work on it and that I should consider a new motherboard and all this other stuff but I was already upset, my pc has now been sitting down there for over a month, just for them to tell me the same shit I told them day 1, I got a little upset and said “yeah I know that, I told yall that day one” and this is where the icing comes on the cake, she proceeds to tell me that I TOLD THEM that I was having GPU issues and I did not explain to them the situation, ☠️ when I say my blood boiled, that shit boiled, manipulating my words? Ma’am, there’s no way in hell, considering I know damn well I ain’t say that, so I got a little upset over the phone and told her right in the spot that I did not say that or any bullshit and told her exactly what I said while saying I said it over the phone and in person, it was quiet on the phone for a few seconds cause nah wtf, but I don’t wanna let anger get in the way so i cooled my ass down and made sure she knew that, started talking about cpus because I already have anew mother board that just needs a cpu, I had already found the exact ones online it needs and at good prices for me, I asked if I can buy my cpu through them and she said yes and I asked if there was an installation fee, she proceeds to say yes and tells me it’s hourly, I heard that and already knew it would be bad, $150 AN HOUR! And tells me it would average around 3 hours, dude that’s around $450-600 for a cpu installment, no way in hell are you selling me out like this right now, and I just didn’t want to be on the phone with her anymore but she proceeded to tell me to send her pictures of my motherboard and cpus I have in mind and that she would get back to me in an hour, so I did, and she got back to me in time, and told me the cpu alone would be an extra like $30-40 then what I was looking at, same cpu tho, and then “gives me a deal” for only $1650, brand new pcu all the way around, bruh no, so I went got my pc next day, I paid $60 for this shit, wasted my time and money

I recently came in here to get a custom pc built and my God if you're in the area, these two will not disappoint, everything I requested was delivered and works amazing, if I did have to say anything bad it would be the prices, average you're looking at $115 for each hour spent working on it, fair warning it's a bit pricey, but insanely worth it.

A couple of years ago, from a a referral from pc Works, I used them with the other management and was impressed then. When I had an issue I contacted pc Works again because I thought they started seeing local customers again. Their receptionists gave me a couple other companies instead of PC Simplicity. I asked about the reason, she indicated they were under new management. Because of the difficulty with the pc Works referrals. I decided to try PC Simplicity again. I want other people to know that I was very impressed with their service. The communications were easy. Then when I got home I was expected time to create set ups, etc. This did not happen. I will definitely use their service in the future and will refer others.

This was once a thriving business with incredible customer service and work. However with KC passing and the hostile takeover by the current owner, a former POS employee, the only good remaining employees were forced to leave or did so to keep their morals. The low down scum running/owning this place is incompetent and enjoys swindling the customers. BEWARE!!!

KC is a true professional! I upgraded my PC, doubling everything my case could handle; Motherboard, processor and RAM. They managed to install the new items and reinstall my existing graphics card and the two cooling units I had installed previously.
I really needed it quickly as I could not afford to be down for days. I dropped off my case in the morning at open and it was ready by the end of the day running perfectly! The quote given to me was very fair priced too for parts and labor. Outstanding work! When you find a great individual that does outstanding work, you keep them, even if you have to drive an hour to use their services.
