3 Sept 2024. I stopped by to get an item. After waiting a while for service, I headed out the door when I heard a man yelling, SIR, several times. I stopped, turned around, a man walked up in my face and asked if I need any help. I said I was waiting for a while but will come back later. He then made a rude comment which, I thought, CS reps shouldn't be speaking to customers like that. Hopefully, he will adjust his cs approach because, that is a quick way to loose customers. BTW, they are a somewhat pricey store.

New to this area and my experiences here have been extremely refreshing. I like the layout of the store and the customer service I've received has really been great. Frank is very knowledgeable about all the Stihl products and Derek tuned a trimmer for me and honestly I'd come back and buy Stihl products just because he seems like such a nice guy. He gave me some great advice on a chainsaw too. I'll be a return customer for sure.

So I walked into the place and found exactly what I have been looking for (WMS deer magnet) to plant my green fields this year at a fraction of the price. WMS deer magnet is hard to find so I was so excited. I asked if I purchase the WMS deer magnet green field seed now if they would hold it for me because I was leaving the same day for a vacation and they said sure, as LONG AS YOU PAY for them now. So I purchased 7 bags... Fast forward to today and I come to pick up my seeds with my receipt and guess what? NO SEEDS! The front counter told me they cannot get anymore because it's hard to get and furthermore, the workers could not even put what I had paid for to the side with my name on it after I PAID FOR IT. Now I am stuck with the WMS Alabama blend that I did not want because of time constraints. Oh, did I mention that the price of the WMS deer magnet jumped from 39.99 to 59.99 and I was told the price was marked wrong. I know why I didn't get mine, because you saw the price marked wrong and would not put my order up so it could not be sold. You are a joke of a business and the customer service? Don't even get me started on that and I have been in customer service for 22 years. I should have known better as this is not the 1st time I have been screwed by this joke of a business however it certainly will be the last.

To return stain, a can must weigh the same as another”of the same name” apparently, but when I pay to get any can; its the same price?
When Greg assisted me in an unprofessional manner and made me pay for something I already paid for and kept my paid for stain, while smiling, I tried to compare the weight of a golden oak stain to colonial maple and was told that I need to compare the same name stain to be sure of the same weight . When in actuality they’re not sure when it’s labeled with weight it’s labeled with and being charged for.

The people of Oxford Lumber are what makes this place so special! They are always helpful and friendly. I have never left there without finding what I was looking for, bc they are so helpful. Their selection is huge and the garden center is always stocked with beautiful plants and flowers for the season. We are lucky to have this store in Oxford!

Went in today for canning jars, online wasn't letting me order them for the online clearance. They went above and beyond to help me. Helped me get everything else on my list. Definitely going back. Friendly and knowledgeable. Good prices too.
