As a frequent visitor of Ohkay hotel and casino I was really suprised with the negative experience I had this weekend. First off the hotel staff were really amazing. Great customer service. This morning at the buffet for breakfast the host was really rude about Coke vs Pepsi products. I asked for a Diet Coke and she rudely responded so you want Pepsi. I then asked if she had Diet Coke and again very rudely I just said we have Pepsi. Then asked we were seated after we got our food I asked a server who had a hand full off napkin if we can please have some napkins she replied very rudely I’m not your server, your server will give you napkins. As we were exited I went to the cashier to cash out a casino voucher. No body was at the desk so i politely said hello is anyone here and the lady from the back area shouted wait a minute then came around the corner and said didn’t you hear me I said wait. I said I’m sorry I did not hear you she replied again very rudely when I shout all the people hear me I don’t know why you didn’t I told her I am not all the people and I did not hear her. Her name is Theresa she was very rude when I asked to speak to the supervisor she said she was the supervisor.

This is a nice casino...staff are polite and welcoming. The food and atmosphere are good. The location is a bit out of the way, but the service makes up for that! I'll make this a regular place to gamble.

Location perfect for us for Ojo Caliente and Bandelier. Room was clean and quiet; could use some minor patching and touch up paint. However, we never got housekeeping service-we were not happy There was a fire alarm at 4:30 am the morning after we checked in-not fun. Our keys didn't work the second night because they had not been programmed correctly, so my boyfriend had to bring the keys to the front desk to get them corrected.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Renee and her banquet staff. Our retirement party/wedding reception was so memorable. The staff was courteous, helpful, and attentive to every detail. Muchas gracias, Ohkay Owingeh banquet staff! This is our third party here and we will be back!
The Hotel staff was great! Some of our guests stayed in the hotel rooms, one of them left her purse in the room after check out. Towards the evening she realized that she did not have it. We were able to retrieve the purse, intact. Thank you housecleaning staff for taking care of her belongings. They were able to get on the Michigan bound plane without a hitch!

We had a great weekend. We went up there to listen to a wild country. Afterward, we played at the casino And want to our room in a safe walkway to our room.

Positive: The views were great, also a great happy hour Negative: 4PM checkin time is already late, got there at 3:15, close enough to get checked in anywhere else; in such a small town, there is nothing for us to do except wait in our car. Staff just sat and watched us gamble during the day and night.

All I had to do was drive 1800 miles, break down twice, and cross three states to find the best chicken fried steak breakfast I've ever had. The whole hotel is incredibly clean and security keeps it that way. Thanks Darryl, Rose, Cindy and Team! Louis and Felix were super kind and courteous too! Hot sauce in house!
