Put on your headphones and blast DARK SIDE OF THE MOON by Pink Floyd to accompany your journey along this amazing, innovative, creative, and bizarre universe of art. Now that you have a perfect soundtrack, you can take a close look at all of the works of art made from trash that was literally in the area and dragged and pushed to become these monuments to manโ€™s wastefulness. Immediately on inspiring and shocking and make you think all at once.
Your journey will take you to the end of the desert, but it is worth the trip and I mean itโ€™s a trip . hereโ€™s a game for you count how many broken toilets were used in making this artwork.

if you need a moment to yourself to self reflect or just to get inspired, this is a great spot to get stuck in thought.

also note that there is a dedicated parking area that is labeled "gor noah's art site" (seemingly kindly provided by the neighbors) across from the site. dont park anywhere else as it is private property and you need to respect the area

Interesting example of a self-made artist. A chronological example of the creative mind and its life journey. Many found objects and the deserts interaction with them, creating a showcase of how the desert claims many of humanities discarded possessions
and dreams. The self made artists museum existing outside the confines of the art establishment and its politics, culminating in a feeling of freedom, humanities futile existence, and loneliness, all in one. A must see for creators, makers, DIY enthusiasts, as well as those looking for a fresh take on Americana from heyday to decline.

A vast collection of outdoor art pieces using found or ordinary objects. It is impressive that one person made all of these fascinating artworks. Very cool stop to walk around for about 30 minutes if youโ€™re in the yucca or Pioneer town area.

Decades of work in the middle of no where. Tons of desert trash and left behinds have been assembled into acres of displays. You have never seen anything like this anywhere.

Noah definitely had a passion for the unusual. Making things out of what others discarded or had no use for and because of the effort and time it took Noah to create his visions, I feel it's worth a visit.

Unfortunately, his visions were hard for me to conceptualize and are in various states of neglect. This reminded me of Slab City, near the Salton Sea. Seems like it's being milked for as long as the pieces are still standing, but this could be due to costs to maintain

Now, in the defense of those overseeing his art, the donation box is hard to find and not marketed correctly, it should be, in my opinion, next to the Welcome art piece; with the entrance clearly marked there. Guiding people to this spot. If the funds would actually be used to upkeep Noah's art pieces, then there should be signage explaining why donations are needed. I didn't see one of the many visitors drop money into the donation box next to the sign in box. We had to search/figure out where the money drop box was in order to make our donation.

Most of the drive is paved until your last right turn on to Blair Lane. You park perpendicular to the road, on the sides of the road. There is parking signage.

The owner of the spaceship home, I think it's a vacation rental, probably won't be happy with my pointing out its existence a ways behind Noah's Desert Museum. It's cool. Check it out from a distance so as not to ruin it for the people who are there.

Respect the residents of the area by not littering, drive slowly, stay off their property, and be respectful.

This was a highlight of my Joshua tree trip! You can go through this vast collection of sculptures if you walk quickly in about 20 minutes, but I could have spent an hour leisurely walking and snapping photos of everything. I went around 9:30 am on a Sunday, and there were only 4 other people I ran into.
