I should’ve listened to the “If in Florida” review. Do Not Fall Into the Trap!

This company lures you in with grand promises, only to deliver the bare minimum. Their prices are exorbitant—3x higher than what you'd pay an independent company. My air conditioning unit was replaced with the cheapest Rheem possible. There were issues with the machine and I was told it would be replaced as it continued to make more noise than my old one. Despite assurances that I would receive a new unit, no action was ever taken. The unit kept freezing because the initial installers they hired were incompetent and dishonest, claiming they had measured the Freon, yet never did, the guy lying to my face after he claimed he did and I asked where his gauges were. My State brought a second team which was more professional, yet the problem persisted. Due to a Jewish observance, no one from this company was available on a Friday, so I had to arrange for my own team to resolve the issue. The company took advantage of this situation at every possible moment to refuse changing the unit and threatening me of no warranty. Now I’m left with an AC unit that makes a horrible noise when turning on.

The roof installation was another nightmare. I had to keep family members on the roof all day to supervise the work. They entice you with promises like, "We cover everything to ensure your roof passes inspection, don’t worry" but the truth is that inspectors don’t come until the peel-and-stick is applied, which hides any damaged or rotten wood beneath. We had to fight just to get the rotten planks replaced to later find out contracted roof company is told not to go over replacing 7 boards. So if you have more damaged planks, if you’re not monitoring them, it would be hidden with the peel and stick. Additionally, I had to personally intervene to ensure that the fascia was replaced. They were going to replace the equivalent footage of one side of the house. It was only after I walked them to each piece making them hammer test it, videod the damage and demanded the entire fascia be changed as it was indeed in poor condition. After much back-and-forth with the seller and what I believe was either the owner or a manager, we finally got the fascia replaced.

I requested a detailed agreement for the roofing project, but they refused to provide one, continuously assuring me, "You have nothing to worry about; we do everything necessary to pass inspection." I now realize the reason they wouldn’t provide documentation is because they do the bare minimum. They left me with a noticeable dent on the roof, offering the excuse that it was due to the structure of the house—yet this dent was only in the section where we had to step down, where we couldn't monitor the replacement of rotten plywood because the beaming sun was unbearable.

To make matters worse, they relentlessly called me to sign off on the completion so they could collect payment, but when I had questions about the project, they refused to provide answers, citing that they were "not obligated to respond” which I have via email. Any issues were met with threats of involving their legal department which was voiced office and I still have in writing. I had to demand to get the breakdown of costs for each project only to wait like two weeks and receive an informal text with breakdown of AC unit and roof. I had questions about installation, amount of material used, etc and I was refused a reply. I had to dig up answers through inspectors, hired contractors and paperwork to formulate my own answers. Last concerns they promised to address after I signed, yet weeks later, I have yet to receive any response.

This company will hound you for payment and then vanish. They are contractors who use the cheapest materials available. Avoid them at all costs!
