I am very pleased with My Roof Solar!!
I've wanted to go solar for a number of years but no one could or would walk through everything and answer all my questions. My Roof Solar answered all my questions and explained/went over everything even the warranty covering roof and any panels ever needing fixed.
They do not use 3rd parties for any of the sales or installation. They are all company employees and very polite answering any questions I had throughout the process. The engineer I spoke with in the beginning has been available for any concerns or questions as well as anyone else I have been in contact with. Installers came in went over everything they were doing, got it done, cleaned up walked through everything done so you understand it all.
From start to finish just a little over a month. Thank you My Roof Solar!!!!

This company sold me panels under the guise of an "investment". They told me that I would save money and improve the value of my house, none of which has been true. The panels only provided a 65% offset (but still insisted on selling me a reverse meter?), left me with an electric bill, and a note on the panels which combined, were higher than my highest electric bill before solar. The salesman also told me that it would improve the value of my house. I put my house on the market, and received not one offer, and I have multiple messages from my realtor saying that people are not putting in offers specifically due to the solar panels, copies of which I have forwarded to the Texas AG's office and the BBB.

This company has caused me financial harm, and when I tried to reach out to them privately about my issues, they told me that they company is under new ownership and they only acquired the assets, but no liabilities, and that they cannot help me with my issue. No where in my contract does it say that the contract is void due to a change in ownership, but the company has now directed me to a private individual who previously owned the company to file the complaint, even though I purchased the panels via the LLC, not a private individual.

I have e-mailed back and forth with the company twice, and both times, they have taken multiple days to respond, and only responded after I sent follow up emails saying I was awaiting a response. The irony of this is their website markets themselves as having "... unwavering around-the-clock support...".

Do not buy panels from this company.

Don’t get solar from this company!! You will have an electricity bill and have to pay your note on system!!! company is absolutely deceitful. We had a rep come out and tell us we would have no electricity bill and would only have to pay the monthly note for the system. After getting the system we still have an electric bill and have to pay the note on the system. My husband and I were told several times we wouldn’t have an electricity bill from the power company. He even promised if we did the company would fix it on them. We have had our solar for months and have had a very high electric bill still. Nobody is helping me resolve the issue when I call. The people I talk to are saying that we never were promised not to also have an electric bill. My question why would we even get solar if that was the case. They’re acting so deceitful. They won’t help me resolve the issue and are acting like I knew it would be this way. I’m writing to anyone getting a system from them do not listen to them if they say you won’t have electric bill. It’s a complete lie. Don’t make the mistake we did.

In Response to My Roof Solars Reply: It makes absolutely no sense that a reliable company would send representatives that you are not personally affiliated with. Then also not making an effort to make things right when it has to with your company is very unprofessional. I have called this number and the person I spoke with said what I listed above. That I was never promised what I was clearly promised. That my system is working fine. Which barely covers half my bill.

The men that showed up to install my solar panels did a amazing job,they were kind and respectful. They did not leave anything on my lawn,they cleaned up when finished.
I would recommend them for any solar panel job.

After several months of high energy bills, I finally made the decision to jump over to solar power. My experience with MyRoof has been by far superb! Everything from the salesperson to the technicians, I want to give a shout out to Greg and Ty. Not only have they shown their interest to giving their clients nothing but the best service, but they will go above and beyond to make it happen. Anything from long hours to attention to details when installing new equipment and strive to keep their work nice, neat and best of all ORGANIZED!

I was ask to provide a review from the company- my initial response was good as I thought they completed the job. We are now 3 mths after install. Just now getting inspection from one of there own and it was a complete fail! She stated there are so many things they did not complete. So we have to wait another week for her to come back and recheck. Total lack of communication from them. I have reached out with no response! If you have someone else to install your solar I would certainly go with another company. My Roof Solar is well below average!
Update- to your response said owner! The electrician came and tried to finish yesterday. He had to order a part that was supposed to be ordered back in September. It was not ordered so we are still waiting. Your company is was funded $100k in September from Good Leap! I would love to know where the rest of our funding is for this fiasco!

When the lead Engineer shows up to finish and cleanup the previous work all on a holiday weekend, My Roof Solar and their staff continue to proceed to me that they stand behind their products. Their is a process but unfortunately delays remain inherent in this new program as it begins to grow and it isn’t as well defined to customer. My Roof Solar did as defined and was very responsive to my requests. I recommend that when thinking of Solar don’t be afraid to be clear on your request up front and understand the entire process.
I would recommend My Roof Solar for future solar projects.
UPDATE: My Roof Solar is still providing excellent service. After a year plus of operations a panel stopped reporting/producing and after contacting My Roof Solar their tech was out and corrected the issue! Still supporting their customers years after!

Take a HARD pass on My Roof Solar!!! I signed the sales contract back on February 2023, today is 8/18/2023 and the solar panels is still not completely with no estimated completion date. Calls and emails goes unanswered; I’m now paying for the solar panels and my full electricity bills. Sent an email on 8/14/2023 requesting reimbursement for the payments I’ve made towards the solar panels and all future payments until the projects completed. Haven’t received a response, and base on past experiences, I don’t anticipate hearing back from them. I’ll probably be taking to a lawyer here in the next two weeks if the company keeps ignoring me. Only went with the company because the sales person lived close by. But he’s an employee doing his job, and did it well. The moral of the story is, choose a company that dose their own install that don’t rely on contractors!!! Lesson learn, get everything in writing to include a completion.
