My house was surging and blowing lights. It was a Friday afternoon, I called 2 electricians and the utilities. I got nothing resolved until I called Mr. Electric, Austin Hollingsworth came out at 8am and didn’t leave until 6:30 pm with just a 30 min break. He did a great job explaining, examining and solving all my problems. His partners Ryan and Josh joined in (found the parts after traveling everywhere to get them because parts stores were closed on Saturday) and helped get the job done. These 3 men knew their business and took much pride by fixing it all and making me feel safe in the fire hazard home. My house was outdated and had more problems than I knew. These are before and after pictures. Austin went the extra mile and cleaned up old wires that had been cut and left by cable guys. He also discovered my stove had burn inside during the surges. He came back on Monday and did the safety check and found that some of my outlets had previously been wired incorrectly. Also that my fire detectors were outdated and they I needed additional ones. I’m so thankful I ended up using this company and for Austin and his partners!

My electrician was Ryan Duvall. He is unquestionably one of the best service technicians I’ve ever worked with. He was personable, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and just an awesome guy! Mr Electric was not the only company I called to quote the installation of a car charger in my garage, but no doubt, they were the most knowledgeable and thorough. I am very impressed and pleased with the work that Ryan performed in my house and outside the house. Mr Electric is definitely my go-to company, when I need an electrician in the future.

Oh my goodness, I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience with Mr Electric, and Austin specifically. I had been looking for a generator solution that wasn’t $14000+, to run my pool pump, septic pump, frig, freezer and a few lights. The main generator supplier wouldn’t offer any solutions other than a whole house generator with transfer switch and quite frankly, came in with an attitude that sealed my decision of not purchasing from them. However, when Austin from Mr. Electric came, he was a very nice, respectful, smart young man, who developed the perfect solution for me for a very reasonable price. He even offered and installed 2 much needed surge protectors and grounding rod, to protect my entire house and pool equipment. In addition, if parts were required that weren’t quoted, they covered the costs. I don’t know any other business that does this!
Mr. Electric of Huntsville provided me with the personalized, small town service, that is so hard to find now days. I can’t recommend these folks enough!!! I am a forever Mr Electric customer now for all my electrical needs.

Incredible Customer Service!

I had smoke detectors installed four years ago as part of a whole house rewiring project. Yesterday, the smoke detectors started alarming without an identifiable cause. No cooking, no cigarette smoke, no outdoor smoke, no fires…. After the detectors did this a couple of times during the day, I contacted Mr. Electric and asked for advice. Josh Dice immediately responded and gave me suggestions. Josh came to my house the next morning and evaluated the detectors. He ended up replacing them under warranty. I have never had such exemplary customer service as I have had with Josh. He is always friendly, respectful, and solves problems to my satisfaction. I have complete confidence in his technical knowledge and expertise. He is honest and will do the job as if he were working in his own home. Thank you!

Trenton couldn’t have been nicer. He was punctual and so polite. He explained his plan of action thoroughly so I could understand it. And had the information emailed to me before he left the house. .As a real estate agent, this was so important so I could get this info to my out of town clients as soon as possible so they could make a decision. A short time after inquiring about a backup generator, Zach with Mr. Electric reached out to schedule a meeting day/time. During our meeting, he walked me through the benefits, what to expect during and after the installation, and provided, what I deemed to be, a fair & reasonable quote. Post meeting, I had a few clarifying questions which Zack took the time to explain and follow up with an email capturing our discussion. We signed the contract and scheduled an installation date. Installation: Initial crew was Mike and Brian. They took the time to explain what they need and what to expect during installation (which echoed what Zach stated) and got to work. As this sort of thing happens, they ran into unexpected challenges. They called in reinforcements and got to it. By evening the same day, our power was restored and installation was complete. Final checkout scheduled next morning, where they simulated a power outage to exercise the generator. Worked flawlessly! I'd like to recognize the Huntsville Mr. Electric team who made this happen: Zach, Mike, Brian, Stephen, Skyler, Gage, and Jaden. Every single member of the team was polite, courteous, and professional. I'm confident I will receive the same level of service for future maintenance and potential warranty needs.

Mr. Electric replaced the 40 year old breaker panel in our house and added new external outlets. Our technician (Ryan) was excellent, a joy to work with, highly skilled and efficient. He tracked down a problem with a compromised hidden wire quickly.
