As a trash service I’m not sure how to rate this company because I cancelled on week 2. I’m giving 2 stars because I’ve been waiting on my refund for over 3 months.. I live in the same town as this company so this is pretty ridiculous. They sent my request all the way to Texas who then processes a very slow refund check and apparently it’s on its way they keep saying as the months fly by. So 2 stars for refund department

This Is the worst trash service I have ever seen. The Driver/Operator of the side load truck is completely Incompetent and unprofessional. The woman at the office number I called was rude and I was supposed to receive a callback for the complaintand never even got the callback I have video that I was ready to send them and everything of several times this guy dumps the trash and just dumps it all over the road never even bother trying to get out and clean it up or anything like that. And amazingly enough he does this throughout the entire neighborhood never trying to clean anything up all of the neighborhood is pissed off about it it's a joke we're going to try and pass around a petition to get them out of here so we don't use them as trash service. I've lived here 12 years and never had a single problem with the trash service before these guys took over it is the worst thing I've ever seen everyone here agrees with that do not hire this trash company . I think I'll get together with the neighbors and make a video compilation and post it to YouTube of just how incompetent non carrying this driver operator is and the business office part of it does not care they don't care at all no callback's nothing done when you can plan I mean this whole company is a joke gonna leave a review at the Better Business Bureau next.

I called on 7/02 and cancel my service two days after I had paid for my service for three months. The person who I spoke to said that I was able to cancel no problem with a $20 fee for cancellation, no problem. She also mentioned that I would be credited back within a week after the cancellation had been submitted (which did not happen) I called again on July 18 To ask about why I had not received credit back since the trash bin had been picked up two days after I canceled my service, The lady then said that I would be getting credited back on August 1st or the 2nd, Which did not happen. I called again august 8 And there still is no credit in my account and now the representative says that they are sending it via a check in the mail that I should be receiving within the next three weeks.

After I voiced my concerns with the representative, she took no ownership, And said this is just how we do it, I explained to her how it would be beneficial for them to be transparent since the beginning when canceling a service, it is very inconvenient to be going back-and-forth And being told incorrect information. All I wanted was the representative to at least have some sort of ownership and apologize for the inconvenience, She only apologized after I told her that this was an issue that they needed to fix for other customers. I am not A person who goes around writing bad reviews, but there was no initiative from the representative to even apologize, which is so disappointing .

While having a children's birthday party, the port-o-potty was serviced 8 feet away. This sent extremely toxic fumes billowing into the shelter area while we ate. Several kids were coughing from the overwhelming stench. Mountain Waste, gross! Your servicemen are disrespectful and oblivious. Why not a warning so we could have dispersed briefly? If it was absolutely necessary to service it right then maybe train your people to think and communicate with those around. I used to like this company above all others. After this experience I will never recommend Mtn Waste to anyone.

We hadn't put our trash or recycling out two weeks in a row, and we got a call from MTN W&R asking about it. Well we just had a baby (our first!) and suddenly keeping schedule to get our bins out by 7 was a tougher task than ever before, and amazingly they came back and got our bins! It was great because our bins were getting pretty full (thanks, diapers!), and it also felt a bit like a welfare check since we seldom miss trash day and our vehicles were outside. The gesture and commitment is greatly appreciated. Anytime I've talked to any of the employees it's more like talking to a neighbor. A+

Very unreliable service. I would not recommend. In 12 weeks only twice did they show up on the day they were supposed to. And when you call to let them know they could not care less. Never could fix the problem. Find another company
