Well where to start. We began the process in May of 2022. It is now January of 2023 and we are still not connected to SoCal Edison. Paperwork mistakes and damaged property have continuously delayed our project from being finished. This is a $50,000+ job that we paid out of pocket for and we still are paying our full electric bill every month. This company is horrible about completing the job. A huge disappointment considering a friend recommended them to us. Please be more proactive when dealing with these companies. They claim to have taken care of job but nothing has yet to be resolved and still paying $300+ to Edison even though we have 23 Q panels and the biggest battery we could purchase.

If you're looking for a solar company, save yourself some time and include DS Energy Solutions in your search.
I must point out several issues that impressed me and not just the rate, (which was very nice) but simply the areas we discussed to be factual.
Searched 8 companies and was ready to close a deal with a local Solar company, and fortunately that did not work out and ended up for the best on my part.
Searched again and called DS Energy Solutions for an interview, and really glad I did. The owner of the company, ( Scott Mazzola, along with his Manager, Eli Edwards) came to my house to discuss their solar programs. I was impressed and both were very nice and sincere. They did not tell me everything I wanted to hear, just facts. I was then invited to see their office/operation and was very impressed and everything was very organized.
The plant tour was impressive and I was sold.
Bought a fairly large solar system to accommodate my two air conditioners, and looking forward to completely eliminate the SCE expensive monthly bills.
I need to continue and discuss the actual construction of the solar system.
The job went very smoothly and the electrical lines were placed inside my attic, which was very difficult to get from one end of the roof to the other side of the house to meet with the major electrical panel.
They took care of everything, including communicating with SCE, set up appointment to attach a sleeve, ( yes, they even paid for that) for the solar system and several other issues that comes along regarding installation.
I will also mention that each time I had a question, I was immediately given a response. Several times I emailed the General Manage, ( Eli Edwards) on Weekends, Yes even Sunday, and did not expect a response until Monday. Overall I was very impressed and even when the Town inspector came over to check for final review, approval, and stated that they did a great job, and was very pleased!
What else can I say? I can almost guarantee you that if you call them, they will give you a great price and yes, probably the best price for what you seek.

I can’t say enough about this company! I moved into my new home two years ago after living in Hesperia for almost 10 years. That house had a solar system from SunRun (garbage) that caused me all kinds of problems.

I spoke with Eli, who is the manager of DS, and he came out for an inspection of my new home. He was extremely honest, informative, knowledgeable and professional. He never made me or my wife feel pressured to get a system. We put it on hold for about 8 months and Eli reached out to us again. We decided we were ready and within about 2-3 months we had our system up and running.

The install crew was awesome. All great guys who I felt comfortable with coming and going from my home while my family was there. They cleaned up after themselves, were very polite and as unobtrusive as possible.

Two things that really put me over the top. 1st was how much I produced. I won’t put the total, but it felt great sticking it to SoCal Edison. I’m pretty sure my system got a little extra added more than what Edison would have liked. But hey, we live in the high desert where it’s super sunny so who knows? 🤷🏼‍♂️ 2nd is today (over a year from my install) I realized the system hasn’t produced for almost two weeks. I also realized that was the same time we had crazy lightning storms in mid May and it knocked out my system. I called DS right away and without hesitation they got someone sent out to my home within the hour! No making an appointment for a tech to come out several days from now. This is old school genuine American customer service at its finest!

I recommend this company 100% and I hope they stick around for a long time!

So Incredibly happy with our decision to purchase solar through this company. We have only had it for a few years but haven't had one issue. The staff is wonderful.. Best decision we could have made.
