Today, Alex was our driver and let me tell you he absolutely earned his money. We completely filled his truck with various e-waste. We’re in the process of downsizing our office in downtown Oakland and had a bunch of old phones, headsets, keyboards, and cords that needed recycling. There wasn't a place to drop off but they do pickups in Oakland. MWS made everything really easy. Laddie and Vincent were professional, responsive, and arrived on time. They even waited a few extra minutes for us without any issue. Once they were here, they worked quickly and efficiently to take care of our e-waste. They were friendly and made the whole experience smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend their services!

This is the only place I could find to recycle batteries from my hybrid car. There was 200 lb of them. Guys unloaded it quickly and handed me receipt. And I paid $0 for that. Highly recommend!

We used Modern Waste Solutions before for one of our commercial property e-waste recycling tenant events last year with great success; this year was no different. Basically a one-stop shop that will take anything from printers, monitors, laptops, cell phones, to batteries and UPS's. Very responsive to our inquiries, showed up on time to drop off and pick up the boxes. Their staff were very professional and friendly, and even took the time to broom-sweep some debris from our lobby when they picked up the bins. Will definitely look to use them for future events at other properties!

Great customer service and the people are easy to work with. Simple and straight forward drop off procedure. I was able to drop off all of my corded electronic appliances that weren’t working anymore and was able to recycle them for free. They only charge a flat rate of $15 for batteries but that was no issue at all. Will be using Modern Waste Recycling Center as my go to e-waste location.
