This location had a very nice security guard and the front desk lady was also very nice. She actually told us they had a four hour wait and mentioned we could go to the Shelby location which only had an hour wait. We decided to go the Shelby location and the security and front desk lady were also very nice. The receptionist asked for our phone number and we were being updated on how many people were ahead of us. The wait was not as bad at this location. These people at both locations deserve some credit for being polite and friendly. I recommend going to the Shelby location.

They think they took privilege when it comes to a electricity and all
They want to hide in your house
Blow gas leak
Think they name actually credited to even work for mlgw
Use u like the one sending it
Lights still go out 1000000 times a month
They gave some one else to love lights
Think they control the bill
Every month go buy pay all fraud inclusions
And I'm starting to think
Most houses supposed to be billed every 4 years
Literally overcharge so I can pay other weird people mlgw return they letter so they won't receive it and they lights with always be on
Without even getting a letter
I haven't even walked in a store with the bill paid! Especially enough to get billed for electricity from a store I simply walk in a look around
None of these companies or donors pay bills
No way I should've seen someone brother as a woman in a store to shop
No way
A titani

First off my bill was $200 a month how the heck is it now $800 when I pay monthly They are so fast to send a truck to cut off but not fast enough to pick up the phone. I’m glad I did eventually get everything squared away. But man I’m so glad my husband/family and I are moving out of this sorry city. Also I’m only 29 years old and act way more mature than the people working at this company. Do better!!! Won’t miss it here fr.

I'm going to give them a 4 just because it's better than the other MLGW location I went to. This one was speedy and the people seemed nicer. All and all MLGW is a horrible company but this specific location isn't that bad

Worst utility company in the entire United States. I lived in many cities and this has to be the lowest of the low. Just another bad thing to add to this already criminal friendly, corrupt, outdated, run down city!!

Even with a set appointment, you’re still waiting for 3+ hours. Even if you arrive right at the time of opening, the wait is still 3+ hours. No sense of urgency. Very unprofessional!

I went into that office recently to sign up for deferred payments and sit there about 2 hours watching for my name to pop up on their customer screen. It was a waste of time Even after my wait time got down to 52 minutes it jumped back up to 1 hour and a half. Very few employees working. It seemed more like a jail because they have more security than they do employees, Also the place smelled bad and looked unclean. For real, too many people farting and messin their draws. Not much work goes on in there.Take my advise and go to the main mlgw office downtown, they have free parking as well and maybe 5 minute wait time at the most. I'm a senior citizen and never had any problems or complaints about the Summer Ave location back then before they closed up. Mlgw will do anything to cut cost. That delay billing is just another form of a money making move. The more MlgW brings in the more they get on their pay checks. It's a crying shame now days.

The wife and I bought a house, and service was to be transferred. The previous owners agreed to keep the utilities on until the transfer was done. We were assured by MLGW there would not be a lapse in service. Lie number 1.

Lo and behold, I get home from work yesterday around 5 and the MLGW truck is speeding away from my house as I park. They turned off the service. We call MLGW and tell us that we did not have a service order in. Luckily, my wife kept records of it being placed. Lie number 2.

After giving the order number, they miraculously found it and tell us we are basically screwed until today, when they would cut it back on. They still have not been by. It is 95 degrees. My wife is 8 months pregnant. And MLGW could not care less and have absolutely no sense of urgency.

I have had my problems in the past with MLGW, but this one takes the cake. By far the worst utility company I have ever dealt with. Every last employee should be fired and the entire company needs restructuring from top to bottom. The whole lot is incompetent.

Update: A technician came out and allegedly cut all the services back on.. We now have gas and water. I was told it would take 15 to 20 minutes for the electricity to be back on because of something to do with a computer. That was over an hour ago. Lie number 3.
