I'm usually a Home Depot shopper, but I wanted to use Aura paint in a remodeled bathroom - an Ace exclusive - so I dropped by Mission Ace Hardware this afternoon to gather paint samples. I was greeted immediately by Ange, by the MOST helpful store associate I have ever encountered. She walked me through my options, including the necessary step of using an appropriate primer on the new drywall. She explained the types of Aura paint, their applications and cure times. Ange knows colors! In the blink of an eye, she was able to select the perfect Aura color for a white bathroom and a lovely blue for a guest bath that has a new tiled floor in a blue/gray/ivory pattern. I left Mission Ace Hardware feeling confident that I had the right products and pro tips for a successful paint project. Thanks, Ange!

I decided to try Benjamin Moore Paint and this is the closest to my location. The Guy who helped me the first time was amazing I decided to get the samples sizes. When I returned to get my full size, the lady who was there, not sure if something is not all together with her. It is hard to say, seems like she is on something not together at all. She asked me the same question 6 times, I doesn't listen and then she looks away when she realizes she is not answering your questions, she loves to cut you off, then she didn't listen and then she goes back to agreeing with whatever you are saying. I asked someone else to help me but everyone there claims she is the wiz at picking and helping with colors. I don't think so, just her energy is weird. Makes you feel very strange. The Benjamin Moore paint is amazing, just wish people were more helpful with paint questions.

I frequent Ace Hardware because it's down the street from me but also because I like the people who work there. Today I had a very special experience with the cashier who works there who was very cordial and happy. I know people have been on edge because of this covid-19 virus but lately it hasn't quite been the same there except for today and the lady made me feel so welcome for coming into their store. The people that work on the floor however are always helpful and do the lifting for me and even take the things out to put them in the truck when they're heavy. All in all Ace Hardware on Route 66 is a great place to go and I find really good sales there. Thank you Ace Hardware and many thanks to the young lady that took care of my purchases today.

I just was asked for an updated review Mission Ace Hardware on Route 66. My opinion has not changed. The people that work there have been great every time I've gone in. They've gone out of their way to assist me and always very welcoming when I walk through the door I ride my scooter through the door I should say. They help me when I need help and they're always around if you need to ask for assistance. Two of the cashiers that I always have contact with are very special ladies and they always go out of their way for me when I cannot lift something that I have on the scooter. They're very accommodating especially to disabled customers. Thank you Mission Ace Hardware on Route 66.

Very disappointed with the customer service. I brought in my broken screen and it was measure wrong. I brought back the screen to advise that it was measure incorrectly. I made the mistake of stating the Wong measurement the se one time and it was too long. I brought it back a third time to encounter the original sales guy and he was very combative. I rank this as Poot customer service. I have had to go through so much just to cric a screen. I ultimately went to a different Ace Hardware due to the service. I left feeling embarrassed and very dissatisfied. I think you work with people to resolve a problem; not be combative with your customer.

As always the staff were extremely helpful friendly and have most of the odds and ends that one needs for projects. It's not one of those giant brick-and-mortar stores like Home Depot or Lowe's but their clothes convenient and do have an excellent selection with knowledgeable staff which is in most cases more than you can say for those big box stores.
