Minooka rocks! From the trails, to the two massive dog parks, this place is perfect. There's a nice beach area for hoomans and pups, with plenty of activities for kids as well! Make sure to check out the beer garden and food trucks in the summer!

Not many people here just a handful as weather was wet. The park was still nice to walk around and we encountered a bird we had not seen before, a red cross bill. Our dog was happy to get out also. Thank you

Minooka Park is my top choice! The scenery is peaceful, friendly people, lots of room for my dog to run, and dog owners are great about keeping the dog park clean in picking up after their dogs! I also enjoy taking walks on the trails and my dog loves playing at the beach in the summertime. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature!

Great place throughout the year. Weather your here for a hike, the dog park area, beer garden, food trucks, fishing in the pond, bird watching, archery area. You name it lots of differant things to do. Trails are plenty and always kept up well. My wife and I take the dog here in spring and see alot of birds and even deer.

Minooka Park in Waukesha is our go to for outdoor events, the picnic area rentals can’t be beat. The shelters are spacious and comfortable. The hiking trails are awesome, even for beginner hikers. It’s a great place to get a good workout. The bike trails are great for adults and children alike, and it is so much fun seeing people riding the horse trails. It’s fun to catch a little pan fish in the pond or even just go swimming with the family. While I have never visited the dog park section, it always looks friendly and drama free.

Too many unleashed dogs where they are supposed to be leashed. No reinforcement. Bad look for Waukesha. There's even a review here showing an off leash dog ON a trail. One of these days there's going to be a fatal accident and Waukesha will get sued due to their negligence of non-enforcement. .

A large park with good trails but the leash requirements aren't enforced. My dog and I have been chased down and even attacked by off leash dogs more times than I can keep track of. I love this park but unfortunately cannot come here anymore given the number of out of control, off-leash dogs on the trail. Beach and lake are littered with hooks and fishing line everywhere from the fishermen too.

This park has it all: Beach & swimming area, 2 fenced in dog parks, hiking trails, mountain bike trails, horseback riding trails, cross country ski trails, picnic pavilions, sand volleyball court, bathrooms, rolling hills, fields and wooded trails. I love this park. It's a hidden gem in Waukesha and I highly recommend checking it out.
