We have a newer home and were having issues with water in our basement. During hard rains, the window wells would fill up and water would leak through the windows.

We contacted Meridian to see what could be done and they recommended putting drains in the wells that would run to an exterior sump pump with a backup pump. No more water in the basement!

Our project took 4 days. Keith and his crew worked hard to make sure our job was done right the first time. The initial plan was to run the pipe from the sump to a pit we had in the front yard, but Keith thought with a drenching rain the pit may overflow and leave our front yard under water. His idea was to drill under our driveway and have the water drain into the woods on the other side.

These guys were meticulous in their work.
Our yard and driveway were kept clean, and we didnt lose any of the landscaping on the side of our house. We could barely tell where they dug in the yard because they pulled up the grass first and saved it to put back. Amazing. We are thrilled to know that our basement water issues are over, and would definitely recommend Meridian to anyone who asks.

The two workmen who were sent to remove a 1000 gal. tank did a very good job and answered all my questions so I would know how they would proceed with its removal.

It’s been 6 months since our crawlspace encapsulation and foundation repairs. My utility bills are lower the house is much warmer and the dehumidifier that was placed in my crawlspace we really don’t hear running and doesn’t use anymore electricity at all in fact we save money every month! Most of all there are no smells coming from under my home nor any mold in our living space since this was done. I highly recommend Meridian Environmental Service. A job well done. Chris came to our home went in the crawlspace and around the outside of the house and gave us a detailed proposal of the work to be done.
It took a full 2 weeks to complete the job. We had French drains, a sump pump and dehumidifier installed. All old vapor barrier and insulation were removed and taken away. We would like to especially thank Keith the job boss for his attention to detail and his daily updates. We would highly recommend Meridian to anyone looking for a dry crawlspace.

I give the Meridian Environmental team a 5 star rating and the highest recommendation. They removed the underground oil tank from a home that I was selling. Because there were two small holes in the tank, soil samples had to be sent for testing. Meridian handled all of the sampling, paperwork and communication in a efficient manner. They kept me updated during the entire process, and it was resolved quickly so I could put the house on the market. Their expertise and professionalism was very much appreciated, and should the need arise, I will definitely use their services again.

I have a 130yr old rooming house with a foundation that would make you wonder how the house was still standing. The project took about a month and I can’t begin to say what an amazing job Mike Hynes and his team did. Mike communicated with me throughout the process. He scheduled every inspection and made sure he was here at 7am for every inspection. Mike handled everything. The final day of the project Mike had the final inspection scheduled for that day and I received confirmation of the passed inspection before the guys left. Mike Hynes & his team were the most professional, hard working, polite group of guys. They showed up every day and busted their butts. In the end they cleaned up everything and even left the basement and yard looking better then when they started. If I could give them 10 stars I would. On top of the team, I have to say that the cost was extremely reasonable considering the condition the foundation and basement were in. I would HIGHLY recommend Meridian. You won’t be sorry.

When I reflect on my experience with Meridian Environmental, these words come to mind: confident, courteous, committed. They are highly compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. Chris DeLucca, Shannon, Jessica and Mike were my primary contacts. The initial contact with Shannon assured me that they could assist fully with the removal of a 550 gallon oil tank that was 82 years old and only 28" from the foundation of the house! Chris provided the onsite assessment work for the tank removal. Even after I found out that the tank had leaked and I needed soil remediation, Chris assured me it all would work out fine. He patiently explained to me in clear language what needed to be done and what it would cost. All the onsite staff left the properly neat and clear of debris. The Meridian Enviromental Team took a tough situation and made it bearable. I am forever grateful for their assistance and recommend them highly!!!
