Exceeds our expectations. Efficient, effective and the neatest. most professional install I've ever seen. Great folks to work with before, during and after...and not one problem or glitch. Bruce, Jason, John- all aces Our next move will likely be to add an EV charger and perhaps another battery unit....and, yes, Mendocino Solar Service without a question. Recommend absolutely

Most important thing to them is that paycheck. Regardless if the job is done to code or not. The installers will not take responsibility for their mistakes. They rather act like no mistake was made and will keep moving forward, mistakes not corrected. Unless you see them do it, “it wasn’t them…” If you are lucky their mistake will never surface. Most likely the guys wiring up your system are not electricians. Even the c10 license was not earned by an electrician. Kinda fraudish…

After getting several quotes and offers from far away people. I contacted Mendocino Solar Service. We are so glad we heard about them. Mendocino Solar Service explains everything clearly and they are so easy to work with. We had our system installed in October of 2022. Works perfectly. I love the App that is included in the deal, we can see our electric production in real time. Anyway I highly recommend Mendocino Solar Service 5 Stars all the way!

We are extremely pleased with everything about MSS. They were prompt to repond to our initial inquiries with a wealth of good information to help us make our decision about whether to do this or not. Bruce explained all our options and what to expect, from installation to day to day living with the system. What he didn't quite make clear enough was how professional and courteous his crew is. The workmanship is impeccible, and the technicians were always willing and happy to explain what they were doing and how the bits they were assembling would work. After I showed them how i wanted conduits and stuff to be routed, he explained his far more elegant proposal that leaves us with nothing showing but 24 clean black solar panels. All wiring/conduit and support equipment are cleanly hidden. A fantastic overall experience. I highly recommend this company if you're at all curious about lightening your load on the grid.

It's near impossible to rate a company you can't reach. Have tried several times to contact them, including by submitting a contact form on their website ... have yet to get a call back. Will try one more time. Not a good first impression, but will update this rating if/when they respond.

August, 2022 ... finally got a call back. I added a star for that.. The Representative -- who was very personable -- said the company is backed up with jobs, and Covid has made the situation worse. Getting a site evaluation is weeks away. Actually getting an install will take months ... uggghhh.
