Power regularly goes out in my area. Restoration times are always postponed more than once and sometimes we are without power for 12 hours or more. There seems to be no rush to remedy the issue even when temperatures are below freezing and people need heat. Conveniently enough their website is also down and the system cannot find my account to even report an outage or get a status update when calling the given number. Not sure why we have to pay so much for an absolutely awful service. Not everyone can afford to buy a generator.

They planned a power outage for a full day and informed us the day before. Thanks for the notice, but it’s a bit late.

A lot of us work from home and rely on power and internet. One days notice is not enough.

Overall we have never had issues with them and they have been a great provider. But this lack of notice is not right.

This is the worst organization I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. On a new construction it took MONTHS before they came out. Then they sent my bill to the wrong address, even though they were out to install new service. When I call, they tell me that I owe $2500 for 3 "estimated" readings. How do they estimate a place that never existed before? Then, I'm told customer service can't help me, that I need to speak to "billing". When I called, there's a 2-3 hour hold wait! Are you kidding me? What kind of half ass operation is this? The president of this "public utility" should be fired!

6 hours! After the power went out did we finally hear "a team is out to check the damage". Six hours?!?!?! From 5 am it's 12pm. Power still out. Yikes. Screw me and my groceries. Thanks Med Ed!!! 😊

I just find it funny where living down the street from the actual utility company that they can't get a problem fixed in a timely manner. Before I would never have an outage now if there is a leaf flying by power goes out and if the power goes out during a storm they are pending investigation for 12 hours. Ridiculous.

I have lived in my new house for only a few months now. I have never experienced this amount of power outages and horrible service anywhere else. Any issues it takes them more than 10 hours to resolve. This could be detrimental especially for the elderly when it’s in the single digit temperatures outside. If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau for their multiple bad business practices and for the lack of maintenance and updates to their infrastructure and systems.

Worst power company I have ever dealt with. constantly losing power for just a minute or 2. literally once a week or more. already fried one of my computers becuase of it. I work from home and lose what I am working on when it goes out. They do not maintain their lines at all. They are are a terrible company, wish i could switch to PP&L

Why does Meted power go out when the wind blows? Horrible company. They take hours to restore it. And always states pending investigation. Give us the reason why the power keeps going out. Upgrade your grid because it’s embarrassing. 2nd time in less than 2 weeks we have power out in our area. It’s 55 degrees and sunny. Bring PPL in. They run circles around you.
