Marvin and his crew did an excellent job. I highly recommend McGee Mechanical Heating & AC. I had two mini splits installed in my duplex rentals. Without much electrical to work with, Marvin came up with the perfect set up. I also had an old gas heater in my house, that turned out was putting off carbon monoxide fumes. I had other HVAC companies come out and service the unit without measuring the carbon monoxide fumes. Having no idea, my husband and I were getting headaches from breathing toxic poison. Marvin came out for a free consultation and used a carbon monoxide meter, to find it was totally unsafe for me to run the heater at all. He disconnected the unit, and sent me an estimate for a brand new electric heat and ac pump for my house. The old heating unit was from the 60’s or 70’s, bought and installed second hand from the old owners of the house. When Marvin and his crew pulled the unit out, I saw how old it was. It took about a day for them to take out the old unit, have an electrician come and inspect, and another day to install the new unit. Marvin put in a Nest compatible with Bluetooth control panel. I’ve had all three set ups installed by Marvin and his crew for over a year without issues. I highly recommend Marvin with McGee Mechanical for any of your heating/AC needs. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the products he installs, for reasonable prices.The crew members are respectful and hard working.

I called numerous roofing and HVAC companies on a Saturday morning for an urgent issue with my roof that needed to be addressed. None of them could come to my house for a same day appointment. Marvin at McGee Mechanical called me back later in the day and offered to come by and look at things. He was not able to fix the issue the same day, as it was already getting dark, but he offered to come back the next morning! I truly appreciated Marvin's availability and willingness to help, as I have family coming into town for a funeral and they will be staying with me. My air-con quit cooling at the beginning of the week. I made 3 calls to different companies, and McGee AC got back to me within hours. I spoke to Marvin, and he was able to come out on the same day while another company would not come for a couple of days. We made an appointment after work, and Marvin was waiting for me when I got home. Very profesional, began working right away. Diagnosed the problem, and the AC was fixed within the hour. Marvin made sure to check the attic and all connections so there was no leak. Luckily, my unit just needed freon and a capacitor. Marvin was honest, timely, hard working, and provided service with a smile.
The invoice is sent via email and you can use any form of payment on the spot. The invoice did not have any information about the warranty on this job, so I emailed the company. I got a response within 24hrs stating that the work done has a year warranty. Great customer service is what you can expect from McGee. Don't waste your time by calling anyone else.
