Used their system to pay my bill. I entered my information correctly. I was charged a $20.00 fee for returned service when the system entered the wrong information. I spoke with a supervisor Mrs. FOSTER. She was very argumentative and simply delivered no customer service. You would think she was getting the fee for herself. Terrible customer service simply horrible.

I put in request to disconnect service to my old apartment in September, but I still was charged for two months. When I called them today, they told me they had no requests on file while I, quite literally, am looking at the confirmation email for service disconnect request made in September. Definitely a low quality power provider with outdated software and data collection. I would prefer GA Power or Cobb Power over them any day.

These people will wring you of every penny you have. They are extremely overpriced, hard to get in touch with, and will tack on all types of fees. When you call, they are unhelpful and uncooperative. I’ve asked to have my meter tested three times and they literally say NO. I can’t wait to never use this company again

I have read plenty of these horrible comments. I can say that I have never had an issue with Marietta Power. I have never spoke with an unpleasant person, and I have never had a problem with my bill. I guess I am the unicorn of their customers! Thanks for always being so nice to me.

I'm only giving the company 1 star because there is no option for zero or NEGATIVE stars. This is the WORST company I've ever had the displeasure of working and dealing with. I'm about to PAY EXTRA TO BREAK MY LEASE JUST SO THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY ANYMORE. I truly don't understand how this company is even still in business. If you're moving into an apartment complex and they tell you this is your only option for power, DO NOT MOVE IN. The neighborhood as probably price gouging. I've been on hold for over 3 hours, for 4 days in a row now and the only time someone answered she had SUCH an attitude. I mean just genuinely unhappy to even be speaking with me. She hung up on me and when I called back she actually told me to stop calling! All I want to do is change the information and payment method on my account. Won't even let me change my password! Just so insanely unprofessional and unpleasant. I've never had to do this much work to get someone their money. 0/10 all around.

Horrible company, horrible customer service. Avoid Marietta Power at all costs. I discontinued service with them due to a change in address and was told that I had fulfilled my payment obligations only to receive a collections notice months later. I never miss a payment but I didn’t receive any communication from Marietta Power and was forced to pay additional fees to satisfy the debt.

I just wanted to add an edit to this review. The lineman that work here are absolutely fantastic, they share no burden in the problems I outlined below. They are very friendly and I have interacted with them plenty of times. The lineman have a stressful and dangerous job and they still knock it out of the park when things go bad.

The power on my street goes out at least once a month. I have never experienced this many power outages in my whole life. As I am typing this, my power is out for the, I don’t really know’th, time. It rained for 5-10 minutes and then all of a sudden power flickered and turned off. That was 4 hours ago.

I don’t know what it is, but it seems the area by my road is always the one that loses power. The neighbors behind me have power, the neighbors a few streets over have power, but my street doesn’t.

It has gotten so ridiculous that I have taken the time to write this.

Also, just wanted to add. If you average this many outages a month, you would think they could increase server capacity so people can actually get into the online tool to report such. It is bewildering to me that for the last 5-6 years it has only gotten worse.

I never could get anyone on the phone to help me. I called six times. The automated voice told me I am 0 in que. Then it says "We are experiencing high volume calls." This is ridiculous.
