Lucky's Hollister bakery did a great job on a cake that I needed last minute. My cake plans fell through, and Lucky's did a custom cakes with about 24 -48 hour notice. They have dietary options, so you have options with your order. They were helpful with the design ideas, and I was open to their design ideas and creativity. We spoke on the phone plus I gave photos. Sometime you have to trust the process and let people do their job. Give ideas and be open to the surprise. The cakes was delicious and everyone enjoyed it.

I would have given it a Wednesday but not everybody should have to pay for one cashier who made a rude comment to me about my dog in the store with a facial expression about that was clear I didn't misunderstand.

Do NOT buy oysters! We got 18 in the morning and half bad by the time we were ready to eat. They inspect them? Yeah, right! Then how did one with a big hole get by?

This place is really hit or miss on whether they’re going to have product in stock or not and the produce is usually not very good. It’s definitely not my favorite place to have to shop for DoorDash customers.

That middle-aged blonde cashier... She shouldn't be allowed to bag stuff. She put the bananas in a bag with syrup and not only were the in the back with syrup but the syrup was on top of the bananas then another bag she put vegetables in with cans when she could have just put all the cans in one bag and then there was vegetables and cheese and tortillas and then to put one of the tortillas on the side when she could just put it on top of the other one find whatever but then she put one cilantro in a whole another bag instead of just putting all the vegetables together instead of putting them in with tortillas and it was just a big mess I just don't get it. It's not that complicated. I even helped back and there wasn't a long line.

I ordered a cake online and got conformation it was going to be made. When I went to pick it up the lady said the cake had to be order over phone because the front office didn’t hand them the papers of cake orders. So I ended up with no cake.

Lucky's is one of my go to stores. The prices are competitive. The store is always clean and staff does their best to get you out ASAP!! Bakery and meat dept always have assorted selections. The isles are roomy making it comfortable to shop even when busy. Lots of parking so you don't have to drive around looking for a spot. Wheel chair access and the shopping center has variety of stores. Auto zone, Mountain Mike's, Big 5, Water Store, Jack in the Box, UPS shop and Juice store as well.
