The woman at the counter was awesome. Even though I’d been misinformed by the LADWP call center and wasn’t prepared for my appointment, she let me keep my spot while my husband came with his drivers license. 10/10!

Shout out to the Hollywood/Los Feliz LADWP workers for getting the power back on in a timely manner, in the cold heavy rain last night. My husband and I seen the three blasts by the power lines at around 8:30pm 02/05/2024, they got it up before my husband had to leave for work early in the morning, before sunrise. We heard them working as we heard the heavy dangerous rain and winds.
May God bless their souls, their every walk, finances, family, love ones, and keep them protected.
Please know you all are truly appreciated.
These are the true celebrities and heroes.
Thank you a million.

Connect power to the squatters with out property owner permission. It could be the class action lawsuit. They are promoting the bad citizens who take advantage to the many rental industry without the remorse. The law and punishment should take an action for this crime. Millions of landlords has suffered from the ill nanipulation.

I'm glad I'm done with LADWP. When I first moved to LA they wouldn't let me set up an account claiming my social security number didn't exist. I had to go to the social security office to get proof that it in fact did. They were very rude about it too acting like I was using a fake one. And over the time I was using them they repeatedly overcharged me and saying it was my fault my bill was always so high. "oh maybe you watch too much TV" when I didn't own a TV. "oh energy saving bulbs don't save energy"/"the energy star electronics don't save energy", etc. I would only have one light on when it got dark out until I went to sleep but never used the lights during the day. I lived in a studio and I'd get bills for almost $300 a month. LADWP is one of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They are some of the rudest people I've ever dealt with. There is no way in hell my bill should ever be that much. It should probably be about $20 tops. So glad I got away from them and now have an electric bill of $7-$12 a month. Do yourself a favor and find an apartment/home in an area without LADWP. They are not even worth dealing with. No wonder they have so many class action lawsuits against them. I got something in the mail asking if I want to be a part of one of them and I think I might.

Power went out last night because of rain storm. We have my daughters friends coming over for a sleep over and we won't have power back on until midnight. This is a total disaster!!!!!!

I moved to Los Angeles in January of 2015. I signed up for automatic payment on their website. I checked my mail this morning (3/20/20015) to find a bill addressed to a previous tenant. He owes over a thousand dollars in back payments. I called them this morning to find out that I need proof that I live at this address. They tell me that they sent an e-mail to me( once that i never got) to prove that i live at this address. NEVER SENT ANOTHER E-MAIL OR ATTEMPT TO CONTACT ME. THE WORST I MEAN THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is how the city of Los Angles treats their MILITARY VETERANS. I will be contacting the mayors office.

Horrible!!!!!!!!! I have had a power outage for 8 hours and I have lost so much money on my business. I called and told to please fix my electricity and water but they said they don't have anyone to work. The phone operator was so rude and didn't care. This is horrribble!!!
