As for communication from LGCY Power itself we have not heard a word from them during this whole process. Once we signed papers we have been waiting and wondering. So please understand that this review is for the 3rd party installers only

The young man who first contacted us was very courteous. He briefly explained the state's solar panel program and indicated that our house would probably qualify if we were interested. We agreed to meet with a representative, Will Smith, to discuss the program in more detail. Mr. Smith explained the program very effectively, and in detail, and after we agreed to proceed with the process, he helped us go through the online process of applying for the program. He helped us set up an appointment for an inspection of our house to determine if it qualifies for the program. We contacted Mr. Smith later with a few additional questions and to confirm a few aspects of the program he had explained. He has been very helpful in responding to our inquiries, clearly and quickly. Thus far, the quality of customer service overall has been exceptional.

The sales rep was very thorough and explaining the process and how to manage the account. The customer service desk is always helpful for technical questions if they came up. From installation to after installation support this company has been an abject disaster. They took a lot longer to get the array installed than they claimed, then they didn't actually interface with Rocky Mountain Power like they were supposed to for the inspection, so I finally lost patience and I called RMP. With RMP's help we got everything squared away so the array could be turned on right AFTER the peak production season.

Now after having the array for over a year and a half, I have pigeons nesting underneath which caused a flood when my gutters were filled with their detritus. So I took care of the flood and got wire mesh to put around the panels, but there is a gap in the bottom row to allow for a vent pipe to come out of the house (my array is two rows deep and mounted right next to the edge of the roof). I was able to get barrier around the edges, but the pigeons came back and just went through the gap. Since the gap is so close to the edge of the roof, I can't get to it (it's over 10 feet long). I figured I'd have LGCY Power come out, pop two arrays out temporarily and let me install barrier then put them back. They want $325 per array to do this. I was told if I ever needed them removed temporarily that it would be $150/array when I had them installed... I made the first call 8/28/24 and have been trading emails with them ever since. "We don't do much work in Utah, so we don't have someone local. I'll let you know as soon as we can get a sub out to help you." I have traded numerous emails with Dylan McDaniel and all I get are platitudes of "I'm sorry to be delayed. I'll get back to you." Here we are September 28, 2024 and STILL no help of any sort. I would at this point just like to know how to turn the one panel off while I remove it and take care of this myself. These people are utterly worthless. They want your money and will install an array, but you had better not EVER need support.
I will consider revising this review if I EVER get support, but at one month out and no support, I doubt that will occur.

Blake, Dakota and Carson were all super nice and when I asked questions during the installation process they were very helpful in explaining. They did a great job cleaning up. They asked me before they did anything. They didn’t drive on our driveway until the asked. Very professional!

Before having my solar panels installed the representatives were extremely informative on pros and cons and what was to be expected. They educated me on how to make the most of my solar panels and how much I’d save overtime. They followed up and when there was a mishap they followed through to correct it immediately. I think it was the best decision by far I’ve made to go with this company and I will definitely use them again in the future!

The job was done great. The only complaint I would have would be that they should have at least one person that could speak English. I had a heck of a time trying to understand anything that was being said to me. They also had problems trying to understand me. But thanks for the great job.
