It's amazingly close to the Legoland park. we have been here 2 times and love it every time. There are always things for the kids to do. The rooms are very accommodating for kids. There is a bathtub, a stool, and a shorter toilet with an option for a smaller toilet seat. The only thing about our room the last time was that not all the outlets worked and the TV didn't always work correctly.
Breakfast usually has a longer wait if you go around 830/9. But it's quick and yummy once you do get it. We've also gone over to the pirate side of the hotel for breakfast because the wait isn't usually bad over there.
Making dinner reservations is very easy online.
The elevator rides are always fun.
We also enjoy going to the boardwalk to enjoy the sunset and playing mini golf after dinner.

Legoland beach retreat was the best place to stay during our trip to Legoland. Breakfast was awesome. Staff very friendly. The entire place was clean. 9/10 only because 2 days in a row there was no medic after 6pm and the pool was closed early at 6 pm vs 9pm .

We were incredibly disappointed with our recent stay at the Legoland Florida Resort. What should have been a fun family experience quickly turned into a frustrating and unsanitary stay.

We woke up to find a cockroach inside the bed—yes, horrifying, especially at a family-oriented resort. When we reported it, the immediate response from staff was to offer a “deep cleaning,” which we declined, as that was not an appropriate solution. We asked to switch rooms but were told nothing was available and were advised to go to the parks and check back later.

When we returned, we found our original room wide open with all of our belongings still inside—completely unattended. After some time, we were finally given another room, but it was dirty, had visible mold in the bathroom, and some of the furniture was broken. We brought this up to the manager, who offered us s’mores—a gesture that felt incredibly dismissive given the seriousness of the situation.

We were later offered a small credit at the front desk and instructed to send an email to escalate the matter. We did so immediately, but no one has responded.

For a resort carrying the Legoland name and charging premium prices, the cleanliness, safety, and customer care were far below acceptable standards. We strongly advise staying elsewhere.

If you want to be near the park this location can't be beat! Rooms were decently comfy and for the most part clean. The tub is very old though and needs to be replaced. Our son had an absolute blast and loved the dance party elevator and treasure hunt in the room. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the dining options are where this place falls short. No buffet so we attempted to eat at Skyline and my son's burger was undercooked and I had bone in mine. Management did follow up with us on this, which was appreciated. Breakfast at the pirate hotel was gross, our food came out family style and it was cold and the scrambled eggs had shells in them.

Definitely recommend dining elsewhere when you can!

We don't normally stay in resorts or themed hotels but did this once for our boys' birthdays. The themes are really neat and creative. The whole room is themed and very neat for kids. Glad we did it once. There are even play places with Lego and duplo blocks in the lobby, one is a big castle themed one. The staff is great and friendly with kids.

I want to start by saying that Legoland is a neat place, but the attitude and professionalism of the employees make or break the experience. Unfortunately, that’s where things fell apart for us.

My biggest issue was with the lifeguards at the pool. They allowed my 4-year-old daughter to ride the water slide for 45 minutes before suddenly deciding she was too small. Instead of handling it with any care, they made her walk back down the stairs in tears, completely confused about why she couldn’t continue. When we asked the lifeguard at the bottom for an explanation, he just shrugged and wouldn’t even respond. Try explaining that to a devastated 4-year-old. Now, every time we try to go to a pool, she gets upset, afraid she’ll be told she can’t play. If safety was truly the concern, why wasn’t it enforced from the start instead of waiting almost an hour?

On top of that, the food prices at the hotel restaurants are outrageous. I felt like I needed to file for Chapter 11 after eating there. Sure, they made their money, but at what cost to the guest experience?

Overall, I can’t recommend Legoland, mostly due to the poor employee interactions. A fun place only goes so far when customer service is lacking.

We came here right after our cruise. The drive was okay (2 hours) from East to West. The check-in process was smooth and the room was great. Kids enjoyed it. Breakfast was okay... We just came from cruise so the comparison might be unfair, not it is no where near the level of food quality nor service.

Overall I'll recommend if your kids are under 8 years old. Otherwise there are other attractions near Orlando.

There is nothing better than being able to walk out of your hotel and straight into the park. The hotel and rooms are super cute! Great place for kids, loud and a little overstimulating for adults, lol. Evening activities are nice since the park closed at 5 pm during the weekdays when we were there. The restaurants are very accomidating for ppl with allergies. ⚠️ The elevators in the pirate hotel play a sound track the entire ride, and it's very loud. If you are celebrating a birthday, I do recommend the package. Made our birthday boy feel very special when we walked up to the room door and inside. The pools and watersides are nice and monitored by lifeguards. The grounds are nice with lots for kids to do and see. And since the park and hotels aren't huge, it makes it feel more personal, unlike other park hotels.
