I took my Jeep to Kyle Durrence Chevrolet in Claxton on February 7, 2025. It had been running slightly hot and was still under factory warranty. They replaced the thermostat but blew a valve while fixing it. The next text I received said that my right front hub was going out. The following text said they were checking out a lifter. They then texted and asked if anyone from the service department had called to ask for my oil change records because it was needed for the warranty. The answer was "no." Fourteen days later, with none of the seven loaners vehicles available I posted the following on FB, verbatim. "If anyone goes by Kyle Durrence Chevrolet GMC, please tell my Jeep that I love and miss her! Two weeks later, and still not back. I will learn to listen to ya'll! No loaner available either. Thanks to the generosity of friends and family for loaning me their vehicles." The service attendant took offense and replied to my FB post, "I'm sorry we have to follow company policies on loaner vehicles sadly rules apply to everyone. You can pick your car up tomorrow. It'll be put back together in the morning. Just shows you can't help everyone. Have a good one."
I got a call the next day that it was ready. Must have been hastily assembled. I picked it up after hours as the key was left under the floor mat. I noticed a cover for the engine in my back seat. There was no paperwork in the Jeep to tell me what was actually done. The Jeep now skips and has shut off at numerous stop signs. None of these problems happened prior to leaving it with them. I have made an appointment with Woody Folsom in Baxley for February 17, 2025. I have heard great things about them. Picture is of the part that was in my back seat.

Lake vliet referred me to Kyle Durrence and I couldn’t be more satisfied. They stayed after hours just for me to look at a car(which I did end up buying)! The 2016 Tahoe I bought is super clean and a great buy. The service was top notch from Rick Hall. Definitely recommend him, not pushy just straight up about everything. That’s What I love most when buying. Lake has kept me updated on the tires I ordered(he works with the parts dept). They also seemed to give me the best trade in value for the car I traded.
