I have been a customer of Jim's for about 20 years. This business is well run. They are good people. I am happy to bring my business here. I have heard the occasional story of someone being unhappy or being told to take their business elsewhere but I'm willing to bet it was over them trying to pull something shady. I have never been treated badly by them which is more than I can say about other recycling businesses in the area.

Worst place I have ever tried to recycle at! I won't be going back ever again. Not only did they insult me by pretty much calling me a thief or something alike but they didn't even give me the chance to prove How I got my materials or Anything. They wouldn't even do a 3 day hold. He pretty much just looked down on me and tried to call me a thief. I say try because I wasn't going to let any old No manners having fool talk down to me. It's fine in the end I took my brass and copper down the street to Modesto Go Green recycling center. Filled the paperwork and Picked up my money 3 days later. I seriously wouldn't waste my time here if you are a apprentice or in the process of getting your contractors license. I'm sorry it takes your 3 years of experience before you can even apply for a license doesn't make me a thief you uneducated no nothing fool. No wonder your property is always empty.

Good thing there is more than just this business that does scrap metal. It's not illegal to have copper if you don't have a contractor license. Every house has copper and most wires do. We didn't need them so we stripped them down instead of throwing them out. We took our business elsewhere. Whoever said that b.s. is a joke. Sorry, but you were highly recommended but that person will be going elsewhere as well since you judged before you asked. Won't ever recommend your place.

Awesome service and top price for all varieties of scrap metal. Have been using them for years. Have had containers delivered and hauled my own trailers in. Always treated like royalty!

Best recycling place I've ever been to. They don't treat you like your no body. They give honest prices and in my mind, they pay better then the other guys. Been going there for 2 years and I've never left feeling like I got ripped off. Call for prices!!

The employees taking your scrap sometimes have bossy attitudes, yet the owners are very nice people. They are the ones to talk to if you have a problem. Jim and his wife are both pleasant and friendly.

Called looking for some scrap for welding. Very friendly and helpful on the phone.

Yard was clean and organized. It was easy to find what I needed and they were very helpful and happy.

I will definitely be back when I need more material.
