If I could give this gentleman “Sam” a zero star rating I would. He is completely unprofessional and rude. I have heard from over ten people horrible stories of how this “man” has treated them. He called my father out of his name infront of another customer and the customer told my father. This man needs to realize that store won’t stay in business with a sorry excuse of an attitude!

Prices are high, always smells like straight armpits, employees for the most part are rude little men, and have several times made inappropriate comments to my 14 year old sister. Recommended staying as far as possible from here!

Make sure you save your receipts. The cashier said the credit card terminal wasn’t working and had me remove my card and use an additional card terminal. Both card terminals charged my card. The owner said he had to wait on his card merchant to return my money to him so he could give to me. I have provided bank statement and cashier remembers they had card terminal issue. The owner will not call me back. Also, credit card company will not refund because the different card terminals they used have different names so it looks like a different location (how convenient). The owner and cashier know that they have overcharged and kept additional money which is theft. If I had stolen money or items from their store this would be a different story.

Selection and price are comparable to any other gas station. Used to be owned an operated by a local family. Not anymore. Customer service and even some English speaking skills are nonexistent.

Edit: I'm giving two more stars to this place. I've stopped there a few times recently as I live nearby. Customer service has definitely gotten better since the time that I posted my first review. I wouldn't all together avoid this place now. I have to applaud the folks there for improving their English and their customer service skills. I hope that with time they will further impress me and become the 5 star place I know it could be.

Clerks are extremely personable. If you visit more than one time they will remember your name. Prices are a little higher than normal due to being the only store in the middle of nowhere, but selection is pretty decent. The hours are good because they are open early and stay open till 10pm.

Just called to ask their price on 100 percent gas to be told they would not give it over the phone. I don't live just around the corner but they wanted me to drive there to find out the price apparently. These people are jerks. Don't do business with them.

Love the owners. However, do not buy Minnows from their store go to at 58 short stop. I got mostly gold fish every time. The first time I got minnows I put them in the shade until we were ready to leave. By the time we left they had all died. The owner said it was bc it was hot out. So the next time I didn't buy them until right before we went fishing. It was 8pm and 75 degrees outside....and hour late all of our minnows/ gold fish were dead again... I've bought minnows from 59 short stop and been able to keep them alive in 90+ degree weather.
