Ipsun Solar is a fantastic company to do business with! I could not be happier, from the initial meeting with Patrick, to the survey meeting with Humza and finally today's installation. Everyone was 100% professional, extremely cooperative and communicative! This is exactly how business should be done.

The entire process took three months from the initial meeting until installation. The CEO even got involved to help move the permitting process along! The crew arrived this morning at the crack of dawn and completed the installation in a little over eight hours.

Ipsun was even able to assist with very low cost financing which put us on the path to energy independence much quicker and cheaper than I ever anticipated. You can feel good about helping the planet and putting money back in your pocket. Most people think an install like this is too expensive. That couldn't be further from the truth. We are purchasing the system over time, making payments which are slightly less than our energy bill (not factoring in the inevitable increase in the cost of electricity).

Ipsun did a fantastic job on the installation of a 36 panel system. They supported us and my husband's need to be involved in some of the very detailed requirements; making the the process simple and straight forward. Ipsun went above and beyond in every detail to meet our expectations. It is refreshing to have a company do what they say and support their team in satisfying the customer. The site survey team was great and allowed access to the layout/power engineer for questions. The Project Management team made sure the contract details, schedule, and installation met our needs. The installation team was on time, accurate, and doubled back to make sure we were good with everything. We recently had a neighbor ask about a roof panel so I called Ipsun and during a light rain the team came over and checked to make sure everything was OK. From the first meeting to the last phone call, this has been a great project!

Ipsun Power has been a great company to work with. They answered all of my questions regarding purchasing a solar system, guiding me through the whole process. The install crew that came to my house was very professional, courteous, and definitely knew what they were doing. Even after the project was complete, they submitted all the paperwork needed for me to receive the Fairfax County tax exemption!

Also, Ipsun has a great website where all of my documents, pictures, project schedule, receipts, etc are all in one place, which is a great resource. Plus you get access to a phone app where you can monitor your solar panel performance in real time and trend it over the long term.

Overall, I have no regrets with choosing Ipsun Power!

Ipsun was an easy decision out of the 3 companies from which I got quotes for solar installations. The level of detail provided in the Ipsun documents prior to signing was far superior, and support afterwards has been outstanding. As a few others have noted Ipsun’s quote may not be the lowest, but for us it was the one that provided the most value in terms of price vs capacity, and their proposal was also the most detailed and transparent. The fact the Ipsun is a B Corp was an added bonus for us as well. Installation was completed in one day, and from initial quote to PTO it took just 76 days - impressive given building supply shortages and the need to get permits and inspections between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

One other standout has been that Ipsun has handled absolutely everything, from filing for permits, to coordinating and meeting with inspectors. The will even sign you up for SRECs! I could not be more pleased and would not hesitate to recommend Ipsun to anyone considering residential solar.

Working through my solar installation felt as though a dear friend (or a bunch of them!) took me by the hand and led me gently through it. Each aspect was thoroughly described and explained. I felt confident making decisions with the depth of knowledge provided - never with the hint of superiority or exasperation that is so common.
Everyone at Ipsun seems to be downright excited to teach the entire solar process. The speedy replies to emails were breathtaking. Every question I had along the way was patiently answered. When the power company balked at the number of panels to be installed, they quickly handled it, explaining the necessity for it (relatives moving in). They even started to help me find financing as part of their services (though I took care of it).
Installation was quick (~2 days) and masterful. AND for the first time ever, I did not have to clean up after workers!!!
I am so proud to have a spectacular solar array providing my power. I count myself lucky to have had this experience with Ipsun Solar.

From beginning to end, Ipsun Power completed their job effectively and professionally. Herve was personally very responsive and helped answer questions. I received a proposal that presented an option to own the solar system or to have a no up-front cost installation. The benefits of each were clearly laid out. Once a decision was made to install a system, all the details were handled by Ipsun Power. Installation was completed in one day. Ipsun Power handled all the paperwork and coordinated the process with PEPCO. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the work and would recommend the benefits of solar while you can get them!

Just got approval for our 9.6kW system installed by Ipsun. They were great to work with all along the way. I believe you can really measure a company you're working with by how they deal with the unexpected issues. We encountered one, not caused by Ipsun, and they worked with us to solve the problem and get us exactly what we wanted. I definitely recommend contacting them if you're interested in going solar.

The crew at IPSun Power were great to work with, making the whole process easy. It started when they came out to the house to discuss the project. They started work on a proposal, and came out again to photograph the roof and finalize the design. Gave me a number of options for size and financing, handled all the permits and paperwork, and walked me through the whole procedure. Installation was quick and professional, took about a day and a half. Everyone on their team was friendly and professional. I would recommend them to anyone in the DMV area!
