Even one star is too much for this place but there wasn't another option in Indio for water service. These people are definitely corrupt and don't care about their customers. They just want their money. Our final bill said we used 61,000 gallons of water. We didn't fill a pool and it was just me and my wife using normal amounts of water for the usual house stuff. We paid for leak detection and they said there are no leaks. Our landscaper said there are no leaks in our irrigation and the timer is working fine. The high water usage spikes did coincide with our watering times but according to Indio Water we were using up to 5000 gallons an hour during the spikes. I don't think it's possible for 5000 gallons of water to run through drip lines in an hour in a small yard but they avoid answering that question. If it was, there would've definitely been some flooding around the yard. They are the ones that keep saying, "something is probably wrong with your irrigation". When you point out something to them that doesn't make sense all they say is, "not necessarily". Now they said we can negotiate a lower price but it will still be more than the usual. Has anyone experienced anything like this with the Indio Water Mafia?
