I purchased a Trek Helmet online and decided to return it. I contacted the company and it said I could return it to any authorized dealer which this place is and when I came in the old guy kind of on the rude side. So what can I do for you? And I explained I want to return this and how to do it and he says he knew nothing about it. Doesn't know anything and refuse to do it. When I try to explain he want nothing to do with it. Horrible service. So I drove over to Main Street Cyclery And the first gentleman says he didn't know how to do it. So he checked with the other guy. He said. Sure, no problem and he took care of it right away and he did such a good job. I decided to purchase a helmet from him

Mike provided above and beyond customer service. We brought our sons bike in last minute (right before leaving on our camping trip) and he was so kind to accommodate us and get the tires repaired same day. I am so greatful.

I was looking for an electric bike to purchase. I have been to many bike shops around Huntington Beach pricing different brands. Mike introduced himself and asked what I was interested in. I told him and he showed me the bikes he had in the store. He carries the brand Trek or Electra which Trek makes. Mike was very friendly and informative. He also has a wide variety of accessories to choose from. I’m currently satisfied with my pedal bike and bought a good amount of accessories from him. Degreaser, lube, cleaner, a seat, cell phone holder. I asked about servicing my bike and he was honest about a long time frame. He is solo so anyone interested in employment, I’m sure you can work a deal to help Mike out. I love local businesses and this place needs to stay.

I had a great experience at this store. John and Mike were more than helpful; they truly know their bikes! Prices are competitive and "flexible". I not only purchased my new bike but also came back and had my old bike repaired. Great service. I don't know what the other review is talking about. This bike store has been here since 1965 and I hope it stays for many many more years.

I thought about not trusting the reviews and gave this shop a try. Nope. Got work done and decided to buy a bike seat while I was there. I could have easily put it on myself because I do routine work but thought he would do it as a courtesy since I was getting other work done and he didn’t mention it was extra. Nope, charged me $9 bucks + tax for putting it on. I’m not cheap, but it’s the principle. Not coming back. Better service on West Beach Blvd. HB.

Yes, the owner is very rude and once asked him when browsing his shop waiting for a haircut next door where most of the bikes were made now? He never answered by kept replying "where do you want them to be made" very sarcastically? He was not in a good mood so I walked out.
It's amazing he has been in business this long.
I purchased some bikes from him in the past but never again.

I called before I came in to inquire about a hitch mounted bike rack. The manager was super helpful over the phone and we showed up a few minutes later. He walked us through all our options and then once we selected, he took us outside and mounted it onto our truck!! He went one step further and helped us install all three bicycles on to the rack. They had new bicycles and lots of accessories in the shop. I really believe he went above and beyond for us and his customer service was phenomenal. I would definitely come back and HIGHLY recommend this place!!!
