Darryl and his team at Home Improvement Projects are absolute professionals from start to finish. He is licensed (License # 1020782) and bonded which we confirmed on the state’s website before contacting the company. We needed our dining room ceiling repaired after an upstairs plumbing issue left us with three huge holes. After calling a few different contractors, Darryl was the most confident, very eager to satisfy, and professional. His price was fair and every component was explained in the quote including labor and supply costs. He helped us identify how we could repair the ceiling in the most cost-effective manner without sacrificing results. Darryl and his crew worked diligently throughout the entire process. They finished the job on schedule, left our home pristine, and even said they would come back to check for any touch ups we may need after everything dried. They came out the very next day and Darryl’s perfectionism was evident in his observation of things we hadn’t noticed. He continued working until it met his standards and did not try to add anything to our quoted price. Darryl is super responsive and very knowledgeable about the work he was doing. He is also just very kind, a good guy, and proud of his company’s work. We can't recommend him enough and would happily hire him for any future project.

It's been a few months since Darryl and his team finished our project. Typically it takes about that long to find things that didn't go quite as planned or don't hold up to use. I'm happy to report that everything has remained intact and looks as beautiful as the day it was finished. What we like about HIP is that Darryl listens. That might not sound like a big thing, but we got what we wanted how we wanted it. When we couldn't find what we wanted for certain features, Darryl offered viable alternatives that fit our vision and budget. Darryl also stays on top of the project which helps to ensure that the work is done correctly. We had a few hiccups during the remodel, but it was all taken care of to our satisfaction and any extra costs were discussed and itemized so there were no surprises. Clean up was done every day and demo waste was kept in a tidy pile until the final haul to the dump. Would use them again and recommend them for your next project.
