Lived in some pretty good places but they still needed to spruce it up a little so when the HEAP program came I was really impressed with it. They repaired and replaced so much of the damaged stuff like the old delopitated refrigerator and the falling apart door the broken window and the window screens it never had. The garbage disposal was already new but the sink faucets were bad gone replaced in just a few minutes even the bathroom washers in the sink. It was worth it that was some twenty years ago and I must say it was worth it to get involved .

Basically waste of time and a big let down. ā€œMartha Alvarez ā€œ came to my apartment did the walk through paperwork was signed by all parties (landlord, me the renter, and Martha) said I was approved for weatherization throughout the unit, switching out the molded and broken swap cooler for an Ac unit, fridge, doors, light fixtures and bulbs. This was mid July 2020, and all they did was switch out my light bulbs and outside fixtures. I called a month after not hearing back from anyone. I left messages and at one point Martha Alvarez actually answered, i told her my reason for calling, she put me on a brief hold and then said she would call me back after looking into what the hold up was, never heard back again. Couldn’t do anything to the swamp cooler for fear of having someone finally come out and deny the work. Year later and still have broken cooler, broken fridge, unleveled doors and windows. And no response from anyone at their office location

They send under experienced crews to your home. They break and damage as much as they "fix". Angel is the worst. Then a guy named Terry calls and is demeaning and rude. They refuse to fix anything pinning the homeowner with the bill for their negligent workers. As far as safety goes. They complete the work and then set up "scenes" after the fact and take pictures. As if they were completing the work safely the entire time. A couple light bulbs are not worth the bills from damage alone caused by this program!

Told the wrong information by 2 employees within 1 visit which led to an extra hour of wait time which they refused to compensate for. This place is hell on earth. They make you question whether or not you’d ever ask for help again.
