HES installed my solar in early spring of 2021 and here I am writing my review 3+ years later, I think I've earn it after so much time has passed. From quoting to signing the contract, there were no back and forth issues, they answered all my questions. From installation to getting permit from the city was done w/o problems. The crew was on time and left no mess behind. The follow up customer service and after sale in the past few years were as perfect as it can be. I had 5 Quotes for my solar project, HES wasn't the cheapest but they have the best products and services. I've recommend to all my friends/relatives, it's worth every pennies just like a Lexus.

The people who work for HES are the best. We have an older home and thought Solar was out of reach. HES was able to complete our project and we are so happy with their work. HES did a fantastic job from start to finish. They described what would happen, and everything they said was true. They took care of the city, and helped us with our HOA approval. Then when it came time for installation, it took 2 days and was approved by the electric company later that week. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We had HES solar install 15 panels on our home in May of 2023. Everything went smoothly, and the whole experience, from the sales team through to the installers, was great. However, in February, all 15 microinverters, which report how much each panel is producing, failed. HES solar sent out a tech quickly, but were not able to fix the issue and suspected a hardware problem. So began a 4 month saga to get the system to function properly again. The panels were still producing electricity, but no data being sent to the Enphase Gateway or app. HES came out on five separate occasions to try to get the issue resolved. The real issue was Enphase, the manufacturer of the microinverters. The HES solar techs were always professional and showed up on time, and really did everything in their power to fix it. Ultimately, I had to order an additional piece of hardware, and HES was able to meet me halfway on the installation price. Although the whole experience was a 1-star affair, I believe it was the fault of Enphase. HES remained committed to fixing the issue and were always responsive when the latest suggestion or remote fix from Enphase ultimately failed. Miranda, Juan, and Trino are five stars employees for sure. Although it took a long time to resolve, my system is fully operational once again thanks to their perseverance.

David Shemai was accountable, urgently responded to my requests and inquiries and made sure that everything he committed to in the sales contracts was delivered as promised, with high quality and even went to bat for me to get the $1500 credit he promised for signing up within 5 days of his initial sales call. Make sure you get this in writing if you are offered the same deal. HES does not give you a record of this credit so it was my word against theirs. I had a complex job - I requested that the conduit with wires for eCar outlet, solar, and battery be run from the electrical box through the attic and into my garage which was opposite side of house from electrical box. Project manager Stacey and Lead Engineer Paul did an outstanding job with the design and installation consulting with me and really hearing what I wanted. Paul fixed a previous HES installer's unsightly conduit work from my roof at my request and meticulously made sure that all the wire connections from the electical box to solar panels and battery were done correctly.
He redid some wire connections and installed a new electric box cover with clear labeling. Everything is running great over one year later and no leaks in the roof where conduit/wires were installed through my attic into the garage. David didn't charge extra for significant conduit and wiring rework Paul did. I highly recommend David, Stacey and Paul to oversee your HES Solar project!
