Triune is a private recycling company located on Central Pike in Hermitage, TN. Minimum charge is $85.00. Just follow the directions.. when you drive into their facility, there will be a stop light. When it turns green.. drive to the left of the trailer and stop next to their office.. a very nice young lady will answer your questions and direct where to go next.. then drive on the scale; when the light turns green.. drive to the location where directed by the young lady, empty your contents, then drive back on the scale and pay your fee. This was our first time and she made it easy. Remember.. minimum charge is $85.00. Metro recycling refused my trailer because it was 14 feet and not 12 feet.. despite having little home construction material.. government at its finest.

This young lady working in the office of 4/5/2025 told me on my first load that there is a "1 time" $84.50 payment until i get up to a ton and when i return with the second load i wont have to pay another $84.50 and she will keep track of my weight until I reach that weight limit. I unload the first load. I then return with a second load and was still no where near a ton. She charges an additional $84.50 + the mattress fee (which i was expecting for the mattress). I questioned her about what she told me the first time and she said " no, that's not what I said." I had someone else with me that heard her the first time. Either she doesn't know how to explain the policy or she just double charged me. Either way. It's not cool to have to someone in that office if they don't know what they're explaining/doing.

I haven’t had any issues short of misunderstanding on my part. I’m clear now where to and what to do. The speed limit is there for a reason. I will be back there soon.

I dumped cardboard, more specifically I unloaded by hand 2,240lbs of cardboard. The staff were very helpful and nice. There is a minimum charge ($80 per ton or 2,000 lbs). They are not the only place that has a minimum charge. If you only have a door to dump go to a smaller facility. Overall it was convenient easy to get to and I didn't have to wait in line. I wish there was a better way to unload 1 ton of cardboard.

This facility left me deeply dissatisfied with their services. Not only did they overcharge me for disposing of my waste, but they also penalized me just because I had a trailer with me. The pricing was exorbitant, and it felt like they were trying to squeeze every penny out of customers. The staff was unhelpful and unapologetic about their unfair policies. I would strongly caution anyone against using this facility, as there are surely more honest and customer-friendly waste disposal options available.

Is there a way I can give this place a “0” star review. They charged $100 for a utility trailer of trash. They used a tape measure to calculate the cost when most established landfill facilities actually use their scale. You then have to drive a quarter mile back where they want you to drive over other piles of trash with who knows what in there. We tried to ask if we could pull up to it and we were told to leave or use them receptacles up front. At that point we just left for a facility that isn’t ran by clowns.
