David in the food demo area is AMAZING! He took the time to show me all kinds of great products and educated me on different things that fit well with what I needed! I made what he made for dinner last night and it was SO delicious. He made it easy to understand and the recipe cards were easy to follow! Thank you David for your time and expertise!

Outside of the obvious reasons, I like the fact that I have one close to where I live. The people that work there are friendly and they have enough of them there, so you're not waiting on somebody.
Pretty decent deli and cheese selection for a grocery store. If I need something quick, I can usually get in an d out in less than 10 minutes.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone by this product because you don’t hardly get any meat in it. There’s so little meat in it. It shouldn’t even be listed as an ingredient. The product itself taste good but it’s such a small portion with the size of the box. It’s misleading.

Always a great shopping experience, but yesterday was exceptional! I had my son asleep in a baby carrier and when I got to the checkout and the staff saw I was baby wearing, Maribel immediately came over to help. She completely unloaded the shopping cart for me, and told me to just worry about keeping my baby happy and asleep. Thank you so much to the checkout crew for your kindness and empathy - you made this sleep-deprived newborn mom’s day.

Great experience as always when I visit an H-E-B. This trip was unique, however. I was traveling for work and got really sick. My hotel was in the same shopping center as this H-E-B, so I ran over grabbed a thermometer and some Gatorade. But in my feverish state, I left my wallet and my phone in my hotel room, which I only discovered as it was my turn to check out. The lovely gentleman in front of me covered my tab and refused to give me his contact information for repayment. So kind! The cashier was really gracious and nonjudgmental about my inability to pay and handled the situation with a lot of dignity and respect. I can’t wait to pay it forward! Thank you to that lovely gentleman, and the kind cashier for making a really crummy day and an embarrassing situation a little bit better.

First time traveling to Austin and mentioned to our friends that we needed something, we'd just drop by a Walmart on the way back to where we were staying. They looked at us strangely and told us that over there they have H-E-B. I was like, bless you, do they have shots for that and is it serious? 😄 Seriously a super cool store and I really love how the sections are broken down. Plus all the registers were open! No wonder why you should shop at the H-E-B!

We go to get milk and leave with $250 of groceries anyway, every time! The produce is nice, the staff is nice, they have a little bit of everything most people might need. It's rarely too busy to walk down any aisle without having to dodge a line of people. Decent parking as well. Its hard not to just love our local HEB. There are two other HEB's the same distance from our front door that we really don't care for. it just isn't the same experience. Go figure.
