We had a great experience working with Anthony on optimizing the amount of both solar panels for daily use and batteries in case of a blackout. He was very responsive to our follow-up questions via text, and we were able to call him when needed.
HCI Solar provided turn-key service, so they assisted with permits and plans. We saved so much time and hassle since they dealt with the city on our behalf. I reached out to a bunch of solar companies when I was shopping around for a solar system for my home. While they were all helpful, HCl Solar really stood out. Anthony from HCl Solar was the one who went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Right from the start, he gave me a clear picture of what to expect and was super transparent about the process.

After the initial conversation, one of their installers came by to check out my roof and property. Within just two days (exactly when Anthony said he would), he got back to me with quotes, right on schedule. He then took the time to come over and explain all the details in person. He answered every question I had and, if he wasn’t sure about something, he’d actually get the answers from his team and follow up. After careful consideration, we decided on the Enphase Micro Inverter i7+ with LG350 panels.

Once everything was confirmed, Anthony called to set up the installation. The crew came right on time and got to work. It took them two days—day one for wiring and installing the inverter, day two for getting the panels up. The team was super professional, friendly, and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions we threw their way.

Anthony didn’t just leave it at that. He came back to set up our eGauge monitoring system and made sure we knew exactly how to use it. The system went live on March 7, 2020, and it’s been smooth sailing ever since. And even recently, when I switched my ISP and lost my eGauge connection, one quick call to Anthony, and it was fixed right away.

Overall, HCl Solar was an absolute pleasure to work with. The service was top-notch, the team was always reliable, and they made the whole process seamless. If you’re thinking about going solar, I highly recommend HCl Solar. You won't regret it.

We did our solar in two sessions. First we did 12 panels, then we did another then. We also had to replace our roof. They worked directly with the roofing company to ensure that the installation went according to plan. They also replaced our main and sub panels at the same time to ensure we got 30% tax rebate on the solar, main and sub panels. They were extremely easy to work with. The 2nd time, they helped with a 0% financing program, which allowed us to pay it off in 18months or so. We have two electric cars, ac, all the electronics you can think of…overall we end up paying pg&e about $1500/yr. We would’ve added more panels if that was an option with our house.
