Holly is a great masseuse, but unfortunately, that is the only positive I can say. I have had unauthorized charges, billing errors, and unauthorized appointment changes from this company. I've called and been hung up on or left on hold for unreasonably long. They sent me a text for an appointment I never made. I let them know it was an error and sent them my actual appointment confirmation, and they did not respond. I drove to the branch to cancel my membership and they wouldn't accept, saying I needed to make an appointment to cancel my membership. I have to speak to a manager, who's only there until 4, which is when I'm at work. The customer service is awful and turnover is incredibly high. It does not make for a relaxing experience.

Forgot to post this couple weeks ago but....Massage by Judy was absolutely phenomenal! I got a "firm" Massage and I left feel 20 years younger! She is top notch...knows exactly what needs to be done with working muscles/tendons etc. I thought I had a injured both of my rotator cuffs but Judy called it.. she said, "no, your just very tight" and with Judy's magic (stretching/massaging) by end of session i had full range of motion in both shoulders. Amazing! See you soon!

Terrible experience! Do NOT book any service here unless you enjoy wasting your time. This business is beyond unprofessional.

We booked a couples massage two weeks ago for February 14th. A week ago, they called to reschedule because they had rebooked the couples room. Trying to be understanding, we agreed to switch to single rooms just to make it work.

But today, ONE DAY before our appointment, they called again—this time claiming a therapist was sick and that only one of us could receive the service. The whole point was to enjoy this experience together as a birthday gift!

This was the THIRD time they tried to reschedule or change our service. And to top it off, they showed zero care or willingness to fix the situation. They simply said, ‘There’s nothing we can do.’

If this is how they treat their customers, I can only imagine how poor the actual service would be. Absolutely unacceptable!

I was gifted a gift card for a hot stone massage they were also currently offering a promotion, but they would not allow me to use my gift card at the promotion price so the gift card that originally cost $160 because at the time it was purchased, that was the charge for the hot stone massage was currently almost half price, but they would not allow me to use it for that very disappointing. I’ll never go back while the therapist was wonderful stones policy and I felt like I was ripped off. I will never go there again.

My last visit was 2013 , sadly had to move from ocean county . Fast forward to 2024 I’m back on the shore and still amazing professional service from Hand Stone Toms River location. Had a classic facial by Sara ! Absolutely amazing. It’s day one after my facial my skin feels amazing . Stress free . I’ll definitely book another service . Hopefully once a month to destress and pamper myself.

I received a gift certificate to this Spa. I was able to make an appointment right away, very friendly receptionist. My massage was good. The masseuse was on point. Will be returning for a facial.
