An employee driving a GCEA vehicle ran me off the road into a ditch while I was riding my electric scooter which resulted in me cutting my ankle open. The man didn’t stop and proceeded to speed away. I reported the incident to the police and when confronted the driver claimed he "didn’t see me". A completely unacceptable excuse for such dangerous driving. Neither the company nor the employee has taken any responsibility. No apology, no accountability, nothing. It’s shocking that a company would allow their employees to behave this way on the road and then completely ignore the consequences. If this is how they operate I wouldn’t trust them with anything. Stay away from this business.

We lost power and GCEA linemen came out at around 10pm and stayed until 1am on A SATURDAY NIGHT and replaced our transformer. I was blown away by their immediate response and dedication to getting us back in service. I’m so thankful.

I have been trying to get the payout of my deceased father’s account he had with Gunnison County Electric Association since February of 2022. I have called and followed up multiple times since May and have gotten nowhere. I was told in June that the person that could cut the check was out of the office for their daughter’s surgery, and I would have to wait until she returned for the check to be mailed to me. It is now August, and I still haven’t heard anything from anyone or have received anything in the mail. When I call the office the front desk person is extremely difficult to talk to and has been consistently rude every time I have called. In fact, I called twice yesterday because the first time I called someone answered and then immediately hung up the phone. Very disappointing and frustrating experience.

Worst customer service ever because there is none. I tried to call to add my credit card for auto payments. They refuse to take my number which they could easily do and instead FORCE you to download an app. Which doesn’t work at all. If they would just take a stupid number in person then I could get this done in about 5 minutes. But, they refuse to go the easy route and make the customer do allll the legwork. Why do you even have employees at the building? This is the most backwards run company and if I could get power from anywhere else I would. They are horrible people with horrible policies set up to make the customers life as difficult as possible. I wish I could say more horrible things in the internet about them but there isn’t enough wretched things to say about a company.

I didn't look this co-op up to review, just looking for the website. Ive been a customer for 30 years now.
Hardly ever have to contact them because it just goes pretty smooth.
The chick that works in the Gunnison office is great at her job.
Outages are never too long and they get the best price for us they can.

Had a flat and pulled into the parking lot to change it (closed on Sunday). An employee showed up within 10 minutes to tell us to leave and change it somewhere else. Sure will plan for alternate energy source when building our house.
