Purchased a new Gretsch guitar yesterday for my partner. I’m so excited to gift it to him! The shop was huge. It was the best Guitar Center I’ve ever been to. I was perusing for about an hour. The guys working there just let me do my thing, but when I had questions, they were happy to help. Will definitely be returning.

Went in mainly looking for new ideas in tone and guitar modifications. Had a great experience talking with Jake Davis here. Gave me specs, pros and cons on the spot. Super cool loves all types of gear as much as the next.

When trying to figure out why this place has such bad customer service all of a sudden, found out there's been a management change.

The new manager brought in all their friends from a different store. Which is cool, but in this case it's not. The employees are rude because their close friends with the manager so it doesn't matter how rude they are, which really speaks to them as people and the atmosphere as a whole

These guys are awesome and always willing to help you out and answer every question you have to the best of their ability I called about buying a left handed guitar for my girlfriend and Aaron was a huge help including his supervisor Arron looked up and told me around 7 different guitars in my price ranger in left handed they had or could order and gave me some great advice on brands and guitars! His supervisor went to their used guitars wall as well to see what they had in stock for me! Aaron was a great help and very kind and humble would definitely pick this guitar center over a lot of music stores around!

Walked in tonight friday 2.28 around 815-845pm plenty of workers standing around playing with their phones. Had to stop a conversation between a group of workers chatting to get some help. The Little short dude got a step stool and grabbed the power conditioner off the shelf I requested while grumbling about the extended warranty. He definitely got butt hurt I did not want to purchase it making unprofessional and useless comments.

Going to skip this store next time and go with another retailer.

Went to buy a new Schecter Solo 2 today at the La Mesa Guitar Center. I ask for the guitar and the guy brings the demo to the cash register and goes in the back to ask for help because he was “new”. While he’s in the back another employee kicks over this $1000 guitar and thuds to the ground. Meanwhile I’m thinking this can’t be the “new” guitar I’m actually receiving. I pay for the guitar and the guy takes the just kicked over demo guitar and says “here you go”. I said I’m not taking a demo that was just kicked over in front of my eyes. He went in the back and checked to see if there was a new in the box one and there wasn’t. Didn’t offer to order it or anything just did a refund. What a disgraceful way to do business.
