Very rude and poor customer service. I tried to purchase color wood chips
They looked at me like If didn't know what i was talking about, even though they had a big pile of it. At the end they refused to sale it because it's not for the public, I explain I was with a company and they still refused. Never again. I would not recommend this place. My business is going to solutions.

The owner of this business is very unprofessional. He behaves like an old wannabe gangster and got confrontational with me while I was there. His products have been sitting out in the elements for who knows how long molding. I sincerely advise anyone looking to do business with him to go elsewhere and that is 100% true story!

I apologize to all who have read my post and used it only to be disappointed, I must redact my initial review. My initial experience at this location was phenomenal, but apparently, I was just extremely lucky to have been dealing with a very passionate individual who may have given me some help that he should not have? My initial review was based under the impression that this was a local alternative that I could go to get all of my landscaping needs outside of the Lowe's and Home Depot's of the world. Unfortunately, I now know that this place does not sell bagged soils and I was directed by the staff (women in the office) to shop at Lowe's and Home Depot for what I was looking for :/... Strangely, last time I visited this location, I left happily with bags of steer manure and my lawn has thanked me allll Winter long for that!! I was hoping to have a similar experience, unfortunately, upon arrival I entered the office where I was "greeted" by a woman who clearly has no interest in customer service. As a matter of fact, she had mistaken me for some customer that she had been waiting for that was clearly more important than me, although she does not know what he looks like... In addition to that, after asking me exactly what I am looking for, I go into explaining my situation, which started with "Well I think I may be in a similar situation as the last time I was here," before I had time to finish my sentence and explain to her that what I am looking for is some assistance, she cuts me off to sarcastically laugh in my face and say, "Well, I was not here last time". I am completely knew to all of this stuff, I wish I did know what I needed, to be honest I feel a little dumb when it comes to all of this stuff and am really looking for someone to listen to what my problem is and provide me with some knowledgeable feedback because I have no clue what I am doing here, but I am eager to learn. It is a bit confusing, as the website specifically mentions the selling of bagged soils, but THEY DO NOT SELL BAGGED SOILS at this location. So, if you are a home owner like myself and are looking for an alternative landscaping supply store outside of the big brand names, Western Organics is not the place! However, if you do find yourself in their neck of the woods, have no fear. Soilutions, is a 1 minute drive from Western Organics and they are more than willing to take your money and turn it into landscape-able material; bagged, buckets, bed of a truck, you name it! Once again, I want to apologize to all who made the trip out to this location (it is pretty far) and were disappointed to learn that you could not purchase bagged landscaping material. Lastly, I must say, if you do find yourself out at this location, speak to the operators who are out in the field moving stuff around on tractors. They seem to be more knowledgeable and willing to help than the individual in the office, they could at least perhaps give you an idea of what you need so that when you are directed to Lowe's by the office personnel you know what to look for.

I have always had great experiences with Gro-well products, we've been using them for our business for years. Lots of variety and great prices on bulk landscaping materials. Most of the home improvement stores in the region get their bagged products from these guys.

We purchased a load of topsoil from this company and my neighbor was stabbed with a NEEDLE that was inside the compost while unloading it into planters. Do NOT purchase this company's products. The owner refused to take any responsibility, could care less about its customers and offered no refund for the compost which also had glass and fiberglass trash inside of it. It also did not smell completely composted. Awful awful company. Our neighbor is having to have multiple Hep B and Tet injections after being stabbed with a needle in Grow Well topsoil.
