Adorable staff, with high quality coffee. Both my boyfriend and I are baristas and tend to find coffee shops cut corners and serve shit coffee- not Groundwork. Amazing coffee. Delicious food 100/10. Ordered nitro cold brew, Vietnamese coffee, avocado toast.

Great locally sourced coffee. They make their own mocha (chocolate) sauce in house. I got their mocha with oat milk and it’s so good! Definitely delightful.

They have a full food menu. And a really good breakfast burrito and breakfast tacos. Lots of options for dietary restrictions. Like soyrizo for vegetarians.

Very cozy coffee shop atmosphere. That feels comfortable to read, study, work, or chill. They have WiFi, Restrooms, Water, and lots of seating.

Top notch espresso here, made very well. Food options very good too. I even did a side-by-side mocha comparison w/my other favorite down the street, and as usual, Groundwork held its ground - complex flavor notes, no burnt taste, good crema, good latte art. Well worth the extra walk past a few mediocre places, and actually parking is pretty easy here in the mornings.

Stayed at a hotel nearby and ended up here for coffee & breakfast every morning. The house mocha with cashew milk is heavenly, but nothing will top the vegan BLTA. The house made sourdough & vegan herbed aioli take it to the next level. Seriously, so good. Staff are all lovely & the space is great. Will absolutely come back whenever we are in Hollywood 🙂

One of many coffee houses I have tried, but it didn’t stand out. It has standard coffee choices. ☕️ I had an iced mocha with almond milk and it was good. Breakfast sandwich was simple, but tasty. The baristas were very friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. 🙌The coffee just wasn’t at the level that the baristas are creating the drinks.

Nice coffee, breakfast, lunch place in a simple setting. Actually the best coffee I’ve found in the area. Portions are big (even too big). Service is fast. The only thing to improve is to use real plates and cutlery rather than paper boxes and plastic (better for the environment).

Nothing beats feeling completely at home in a coffeeshop in the middle of Hollywood. I have been coming here for almost a decade and consistetly this lovely place has delicious coffee, kind employees, and makes you feel welcome. Its a nice spot to work or chat, and they have something for everyone (including delicious/healthy food). I must have become a creature of habit because now they often have my drink ready before I have even gotten to the register - its so special to find little slices of community in Los Angeles, and you can find exactly that here!

My friend used to go there all the time. I started going there with him and noticed that the employees were just absolutely rude. I told him I’m not going there anymore. He doesn’t go there either. The food is OK. The three tacos are pretty good. Overall, I would not recommend this place. It’s a tad overpriced and you can find taco just as good at another joint with employees who actually care.
