We first contacted the Greener Energy team when we were looking to change our old heating system. After a quick chat, we were booked in for a visit. The sales rep Munro was super clear and extremely helpful with explaining funding and the overall process of installation. He explained how the system worked and gave us a high level explanation of how the system would be installed and associated timescales.
The follow up calls with the office were always super quick and clear, they even helped us with the funding forms and helped us out with a dispute with HES (which was resolved). Every time I had to call back, I was always met with good knowledge and all call backs to myself were met.
The installation team were brilliant. Firstly Matt did an excellent job of our tech survey and advised of everything that was being installed and where. Even after a misunderstanding regarding one of the radiator sizes (which was my fault), he organised to have a replacement put in the following week, which was done at no added cost.
Andy, Ryan and Bruce the plumbers were all good humour and very respectful of our property. The electricians Steven, Leon and Justin were great craic and treated us like old friends as opposed to customers, which we really appreciated. Steven took the time to explain everything that was happening and made sure to let us know about all the installation details. He went through the setup clearly and showed us what we needed to do with the new system.
Finally, the follow up from the office and accounts team was always polite and clear about what was happening next and how to finalise payments. There was no confusion there.
Overall, we are extremely happy with the experience with Greener Energy, and very happy that we'll have a nice warm house this winter!

Admittedly i asked for A callback, not 31 over a 10 day working day period!!! As interested as i was in getting a heat pump, this company due to what was verging on harrassment with multiple calls, lost an interested and potential customer due to the large amount of calls. Morning noon and night there was no let up. In the end i had to call to say please remove me from your calling list and i was then told i had asked to be called, that is correct but not THIRTY ONE times

I would highly recommend Greener Energy Group. The initial meeting with Munro Grierson, renewable energy consultant was very informative and an asset to the company. All the office staff have been extremely helpful throughout and all queries handled with expertise and great communication skills. The installation team were superb. All friendly, professional and tidy. Well done Ryan, Bruce, Andy, Jack, Cammy, Andy, Stephen, Drew, Sandy and Charlie. Now that I have a Grant Aerona ASHP and 12 PV panels I hope to have a far more efficient heating system. Thank you.

We found Greener Energy through their detailed You Tube videos; contacted them and a surveyor attended our house where clear and accurate modelling of the potential system performance was shown to us. We received a clearly set out quotation detailing all aspects of the system upon which we placed an order. Our installation was more complicated than is often the case as some new pipe work was necessary but the engineers still had the system working within the two days planned. We immediately felt the benefit of the heating and hot water all generated from our PV Panels and ASHP and without burning gas! Some return attendance was necessary to complete pipe lagging which was all done very neatly and with no inconvenience to ourselves. During the early days of system operation I had need to call Greener Energy for advice regarding the system operation; the call was answered quickly and my queries answered immediately a quite exceptional level of service! we are now facing our first winter but entirely with confidence.

Greenerenergy Group have provided a first class service throughout the process from sales through to installation. The sales person, James, was not forceful in any way and was happy to follow up technical queries I had. After signing the contract, Debbie was incredibly personable and helpful with completing the Home Energy Scotland documentation. Communication has been excellent throughout, advising dates of staff visits, installation, staff names etc. The installation went as smoothly as could be expected, and despite there being new pipework meaning lifting carpets and floorboards, the house was left very tidy. The installation staff did not hang around and set about their work in a very professional and diligent manner, and not doing anything major without consulting myself or my wife. The follow up quality control visit was very helpful in explaining the operation of the system. I'd like to make special mention of installation team Stevie, Colin, Davie, Chris and the joiner Dave Thomson. I would be delighted to recommend your organisation to potential customers.

Overall very happy with Greener Energy Group BUT...

Our point of sales experience was a bit misleading as our initial quote on Energy production was reduced by 10% after being reviewed by their Insurance company HIES who said some nearby trees would cast a shadow. This was after paying the deposit and some way into the application. And we were told we probably wouldn't need planning permission even though we lived in a conservation area, which we did need to apply for, which gave us a bit of a false start.

However communication with the office was great and they were helpful when filling out the HES portal application.

The installation was fast and very professional although we had some snags with 2 leaks. However they were caught quickly and GEG were quick to send out a painter and decorator with a dehumidifier. The only down side with communication is that GEG don't have an emergency call out number. So the leak happened on Friday evening and we didn't get a response until Monday after phoning and emailing. Luckily it wasn't a massive leak.

Really happy with the products so far. We have an ASHP with Solar panels, battery and inverter and its been toasty warm, just in time for winter! I love looking at the shine phone app and seeing how much solar energy we are producing!

The main reason we chose GEG is that they do both solar AND ASHP together and were good at explaining and breaking down the grant application process with HES.

The office staff were very efficient from start to finish especially Debbie who took the time to explain things more clearly. Also the tradesmen, especially Cameron and Willie who worked relentlessly and very tidy. Also Colin who came back to explain things more clearly with the remotes. Unfortunately not had a great experience. First time, minutes before competing the deal they tried to increase the price, they also had the wrong type of boiler in the survey.

Second time we looked at solar panels and just didn't hear anything back after the survey.

Final attempt, asked about a Hybrid system and were told our house was too small (200sqm) and it would need to be 500sqm/ 5,000 sqft minimum.
