The installation itself went smoothly and was completed on time. The technicians were respectful of my property and left everything clean and tidy when they were finished. Since then, my solar panels have been working perfectly, and I'm thrilled with the savings on my energy bills.

However, a company isn’t measured by nothing going wrong, but by how they perform under pressure and prompt, professional steps taken to rectify things. The initial sales pitch was perfectly fine and virtual which was nice however everything after that was abysmal. Our Sales person (a VP) was not contactable. His voice mail was not set up and he would not respond to emails. In order to contact him I would have to call the company's generic line and have them give him a message.

When we were able to speak with him he would tell us that he was going to send/do things by a certain date and then would not follow through.

We were attempting to move forward with this company for over 3 weeks and were never able to get the information we needed. They were the lowest quote but ultimately we decided to go with a more expensive quote and a company that was easier to contact/work with.

I would not recommend this company at all. When we requested a new sales associate the company just did not get back to us. Communication was non existent without a lot of effort on our part.

We are so happy to have chosen Green Home Makeover for our solar installation. Kyle Shouse has always been friendly, knowledgeable and prompt in response to every question we've had along the way, walking us through everything from start to finish.
It was determined our roof would need joist reinforcements prior to the installation. The crew that did the job was courteous and friendly. The solar panel installation was also handled efficiently with a great crew.
(A very small glitch regarding final approval by the inspector was handled efficiently and swiftly, to get our system up and running.)
We recommend Kyle and his crews to anyone considering going solar.

Absolutely trash don't think about doing solar with these guys they are scam artists they will not return your call and they try to take your voucher for Illinois solar for all to get compensated and you get nothing I've been calling these guys for the last three weeks and got nothing. Beware be careful

I just wanted to share my solar experience with GHM. Mo Alkubaisi came over on time and was extremely professional and friendly. Mo took the time to go over my current situation with ComEd and then shared with me all of my solar options and saving. He answered all of my questions and he walked me through it step by step. We stayed in contact throughout the process and today Mo came over to visit the installation. Everything exceeded my expectations. The grew is extremely experienced and clean. Paid $0 and saving alot of money. I recommend Mo and GHM to everyone Ik.

Be careful of this company. Received a cold call from Patrick about purchasing solar. I already have panels so am more than familiar with how leasing works. That being said, I tried to carry on the conversation for curiousity purposes. After being told I could reduce my energy bill to zero and receive a government subsidy check in the mail after installation, I just knew that’s not how leasing panels work. The predatory sales tactics Patrick used are straight out dangerous and will no doubt mislead the venerable.
