I talked to 2 people and had nothing but a pleasant experience. They were very helpful and got my problem fixed within a few minutes. Im from out of state & I must add I do think it’s a bit odd (&expensive) needing to get gas and electricity from different companies, but it is what it is.

Probably the most rude customer service line as well as providing false information to homeowners regarding Colorado’s net metering program, avoid crystal from customer support

We had an estimate given to us for an ADU. We were told to put a deposit down so we could save money on the project. We ended up canceling the project but was only refunded 1/2 of our original deposit. When asked why that was so Mike the manager said the engineer billed us for 4 hours on our project. Granted the Engineer was only at our place for 10 minutes and absolutely no work was done. It cost us 350.00 on which I received no services. They refused to refund me my money. I am so disappointed in this company. I understand paying some but 350.00 is outrageous and wrong to do to their customers. Our power goes out often in the summer and our rates are higher than Xcel. The drivers for this company are 5 star and wonderful.

We have been customers for about 4 years, never missed a single payment and have not had a single issue with GVP until recently. Our power was shut off due to an error with autopay. This caught us by surprise as we had not been notified of any issues. We are not upset the power was shut off. My wife and I both understand things happen especially when technology is involved. We are upset at how the lack of customer respect and service led to the power being shut off. While I spoke to the GVP customer service person she made me feel as If I had been stealing a service from them and this was entirely my fault. She denied GVP being responsible for any lack of communication and notification and placed 100% of the blame on my wife and me. I was told they do not call customers and only send an automated recorded message as courtesy, but they are not required to make any contact prior to shutting off power. We pulled all voice mail recordings and not a single message was left. A GVP truck was also at our house the day before power was disconnected. The service tech changed the meter and not a single word was said about what he did and more importantly why he did it. Not even a notice was placed on our door informing us of the issue. We assumed he was performing regular inspections or maintenance because he did not come speak with us. We later found out he changed the meter so they could remotely shut off our power. It is imposable for a customer to fix something they do not know is broken. Ample opportunities were present for GVP to contact us via phone or in person while the GVP representee was already at our house with knowledge of the issue and they failed to do so. It is sad and unfortunate this is how GVP treats their customers. Simple customer service and courtesy go a long way and this entire situation could have easily been prevented. WE ARE VERY DISAPOINTED CUSTOMERS!

If there was a .1 star rating I would give that. GVP has the absolute worst Customer service of any service company I have ever dealt with. Crystal in billing always has a rude attitude and the customer service skills of a child. They will not work with you in anyway. If I could have another power company service me I would. The treatment I have received from GVP over the years has been unacceptable.

They never sent a bill, and will shut your power off over 130$ bill. Good thing I was at my grandparents house. They were sleeping and it was 100 degrees out and they have health issues. They forgot to pay . They had the money they are just old. And this grand valley electric has a monopoly the place has bad communication and they don't work with people And they they don't warn you

If I could give a zero star I would. They are the worst company out there. Who’s ever childish idea was to update the the power early in the morning while everyone was getting ready. Only giving houses 55 V of electricity is stupid. Many people suffered refrigerator outages freezer outages. We suffered from our router being fried and now we have no network connection to set up any of our devices.

One of the most incompetent companies I have ever dealt with!!! I pray to God that one day I don't have to buy their overpriced power. I never had a problem with Xcel when I had them. Can we just fire all of them and go back to Xcel?
