Bought a compression sock. Did not try it on and My Doc said wrong type. I was told I could exchange it. They did not carry what I needed. I asked for a refund. The clerk went and got the (Assuming) manager who told me rudely that it is posted every where that they do not refund orthodics. They gave me a store credit. I explained I do not shop there on a norm. She said well we cant take back the item due to skin cells? I was so confused as I did not try it on. In my knowledge and Google a compression sock is not a orthodics item. I then asked the clerk are you reselling the item. She responded it is up to the pharmicist? When purchasing there were 2 in my size hanging up. I sent my Mother in same afternoon and she reported there there were 2. This in my opinion is not ethical business practices.

Stopped in to purchase a walker. The staff was so helpful. She knew exactly how to fill out the paperwork for Medicare. The inventory was impressive and prices reasonable. I highly recommend them.

I love being able to get anything I need over her at ther Goodwin street medical supply store. Michelle and Lorraine were so cool to keep there doors open lon long enough for me to rent a elevating leg rest for my boyfriend's wheelchair! If it wasn't for them I'd be in big trouble! They are the best!

I recently purchased a complete wrist/thumb brace to help immobilize an arthritic joint. The staff person devoted considerable time to demonstrating and showing me how to wear and adjust the support.
Later that evening I received a call from Michelle the owner. She was inquiring about how the brace was working and asked if I had any questions.
The brace was becoming somewhat uncomfortable after being worn for a few hours. Michelle advised me to bring the brace to her the following day and we could go from there in both relieving pain and obtaining a comfortable fit.
She ended up swapping another brace which was much more comfortable and still efficient and providing support.
Kudos to Michelle and Goodwin Street Medical Supplies for going the extra mile toward customer satisfaction. I do not know of any other similar stores which would have made an evening call to make sure a product is working as it is supposed to.
I was not charged any extra for this transaction.
I will certainly shop Goodwin Street Medical Supplies for my future medical products.

Originally I was going to give this place 5 stars. That’s until today. 2 weeks ago I had spoken to loraine and had expressed to her that I was going to get a payment in in the next few weeks because I was also caretaking my terminally ill wife and had to figure out what time in the month would be easiest without having to put my wife in a pinch for something she needs. Well today loraine called and as I was trying to politely tell her that I was going to have it in at the beginning of next week she starts cutting me off and speaking in an extremely rude and way to confrontational way to me!!! They were great in the beginning and I would have recommended them to anyone but after being treated the way I just was over the phone I’ll never recommend them to anyone. You would think that someone who works in medical supply field would have just a little more empathy for a disabled man who is working himself ragged providing for and taking care of their terminal spouse. And then, not to mention, the back brace I’m being charged $300 for has broken for a second time! Will they replace it? Or are they okay with selling equipment that doesn’t last?

ZERO Return policy except for store credit, and they do not advise that WHEN you purchase! They say they will call, and do not. They do know their medicare billing and paperwork, but sneaky practice on no returns takes away from shopping "local". Unfortunately I had a teenager (son of manager) assisting my purchase and he was not knowledgable, nor did he advise of the no return policy - I would not have purchased - probably their intent. And they Lie - it was NOT used AT ALL, it was opened by THEM - they above inefficient sales person. It was given back in perfect unused condition.

I didn't have a mask today. So, I called from the doorway and asked if they could bring me a sleeve of medicine cups for my business. The one guy with the scraggly dark hair was extremely rude and he wanted me to buy a mask. (Little does anyone know that I suffocate and almost pass out with panic from those masks.) I said I'd wait outside. He said only if I had a mask. Then it got even more weird. I tried reasoning with him, but he got mad at me and told me that following company policy was obviously too much for me and told me to "get out."
Why are people being so mean over this?

An apology a year later No, Michelle. The only apology I can accept is from the rude man you employed. (That will never happen after a year.) You can change all the company polices you want. But that wasn't the issue. It was the employee's conduct that's in question. What happened to the one who acted totally unacceptably?

I had a walking brace for my foot and after 7 months one of the plastic buckles broke. I got a prescription from my doctor to get a new one. I went in and gave them the prescription and explained that a buckle had broke on the one I was wearing. The person working there had to call the manager and the manager said I needed a note from my doctor saying the one I had on was broke. Really? This blew my mind because I had a new prescription! Why a note from my doctor to say the old one was broke before they would fill the prescription? This is crazy!!! I took my prescription elsewhere and had it filled with no problems. I called my insurance and they said there was no limit the number of boots I could have with a prescription. I will not go here again and let everyone know why!
